Pile Party xd
I had my first pile party(don't know what it's called in english razz ) on the 4th of April! I was all excited and all that about it, but it turned out to be quite boring whee
I'm working on this flowerfabric thingy at work and I got invited to see their party pile to be jammed in the ground. First, ofcourse, we had to drive there. I went with 2 chiefs of mine, and one of them drove ofcourse. His driving habit is soooooooooo bad! We drove like 140 km/h if possible, while the max should be 120 km/h and sometimes 100km/h! He scooped over from line to line, without giving any signs and almost glues his car to the car before him! I myself, find those drivers the most irritating drivers on earth! scream
But alright, we got there save and sound *phew* and we went to this room where the speech would be held before we went to the actual place. I went in there in my jeans and rough shoes, with my eastback back on my shoulder and I felt young... VERY young. Kinda embarrased, not knowing anyone I just stood there, drinking my thee and looking around whee Luckily, the architect of the building arrived with his wife, and because I knew them I was kinda saved from the silence blaugh
After the speech, we went to the buildingground (very windy) and watched them did the following things.
1. One of the owners of the future building throwed an Euro coin under the pile, so it would bring the building and the build of the building luck.
2. Another person of the future owners slammed a bottle of champagne on to the pile, yet for goodluck.
3. The represent of the municipality pushed the button on the pile-driver to start driving the pile.
4. The represent of the flowerauction counted the times the pile had to be jammed till it reached the right length.
After that, all the people went back to the first meeting place and had a drink over there. I, ofcourse, didn't went there again, cause it'll be too boring whee So I went home with another collegue.
