Diminished Light
One day a young man had everything perfect in his life, a relationship, good family, doing good in school, has his life straight. However before all this he lived in darkness. He did drugs and drank. He had problems but immediately went to numb all his pain and darkness away. Slowly he was killing himself. One day, through all the darkness he saw a bright light. Slowly he reached out to this wonderful light and found happiness. He didn?t need the drugs and the alcohol to numb the pain. All he needed was this beautiful light. He was so happy, he thought nothing could bring him down. Subtly the light started to diminish but stupidly he didn?t notice until it was to late. His light has left him. He is now cold and lonely again, he went back to his old self. Drinking and taking drugs. He could care less about himself or anything. All he want is the sadness, loneliness, and emptiness to go away. To feel numb again. To die. Before he could even stop it was to late. He body gave up on himself and now he has only one thing left, the regret of not doing something sooner, so he could get the bright light back and be happy again. But now it?s to late. He has died.
