Talk to the hand.
"Who I was, what I am now..." (Chapter one.)
A young werewolf sat down in his cave, his makeshift home, and pulled out a scroll notebook. Maybe...he could find a cure to his current state if he told others? He pulled out a quill and started to write on the cover, Who I was, what I am now...
He sighed, then begun to write, memories flooding his mind.

My name is Glenn Janus Miller. I am a werewolf, but I was not born this way. I was bitten by another werewolf when I was 8, and I've been stuck this way ever since. Now that I am 26, I've decided that I want to go back to my old life. But, can I? I destroyed my own village, killed my own family...I have the blood of many on my hands...Can I really go back? He stopped and sighed. "I guess...it's harder then I thought..." He said. Then he dipped the quill into the ink bottle and continued to write. I thought that if I told others, I'd gain help, but I always get shunned or attacked. It's not easy. Sometimes, I wish I had listened to my father when he told me not to go into the woods, but it was a foolish child's dare. I regret that so much...
He sighed. "...This will be harder then expected...all the memories...it hurts..." He looked at the entrance to his cave, then shook his head. "But, I need to write it."

My father used to own a lumber mill, thus we were the "Miller" family. But, as were the "Baker" and "Tailor" families, we were named after the family job. That's the way it was in several places, not just our Graystone. But, that was a long time ago. Before I became an orphan, with my cousin after my blood. He stopped and set down the quill. "...Is this enough? Can I bear to write more? No, I need to continue..." He sighed and picked it back up. "I seems so long ago, but has it really only been 18 years since then? Still, this won't write itself." He started to write again.

It was a gentle afternoon, with the wind blowing. I didn't expect to get lost, as I'd been in the woods with my father all the time for lumber. So, when I was dared to go by myself, I went in and thought I'd come out just fine. But, the time passed, and it soon got darker. I looked up to see that the moon was full and high above. Suddenly, I heard noises. Growling, all around me. I turned every direction I could and saw eyes glowing in the darkness. In fear, I ran away from them, and was pursued. I reached a ledge and quickly climbed up it, hiding from the creatures. But, I lost my footing just as I heard my father calling my name. I fell and by the time my father came with his gun, I'd been bitten on the arm, and the wound was deep. In a rush, my father picked me up and carried me back home. I was out for a few days, I'd heard after that.

He sighed and set down the quill, watching as it dried on the paper. "...That's enough for today. I can continue another day." He said, then closed the ink bottle, cleaned his quill and stuck those along with the scroll-notebook inside his bag. "...I'd best get some rest." He said, then lay down.
