It's time for a rant. I haven't really done that in a while. Robots need love too. Well, some of us really do act like robots, don't we? I know I do. We (robots) can go thru all of the motions of relationships and love/like...but do we ever really feel any of it? I don't. Yes, I've had a bad past. Hasn't every one? I'm not saying my case is special, it isnt....not by any means. But it certainly did spur my reactions to shows of affection by others towards me. It's a defense mechanism. I try not to feel anything so I won't feel all the wrong things after it's over.Of course, in doing thast, I miss out on all of the good as well. Is this right? Probably not, in retrospect.... but it certainly keeps you safer. But what happens when u reach the point of no return? When you want to feel something and can't? That's when it gets dangerous. That's when you are trully a robot.
Is there any type of solution? For me, there is. But he's rare to find. A guy that actually cares? Impossible, most robots would declare. Well, I say it isnt, and if you are like I was...good luck in finding someone half as good as he is to me.
