My Operation I first had open heart surgery back on July 25, 2000. I was starved for hours and was dressed for surgery and taken to a TOY ROOM, there was tons of toys in there, and I was allowed to pick one toy before my operation. I picked a little stuffed squirtle, a pokemon, and I was then taken to the operation room and I was allowed to smell some liquid and I immediately passed out for four hours. When I woke up, I looked at my body and saw tape, not staples, or stitches, but tape. I was only half awake but quickly woke up fully when a doctor grabbed a blood tape( a tape used for draining blood out of the body) and he yanked it out of my stomach. OUCH!! That's all I can say. OUCH!! I was in the hospital for three days before I could go home. I couldnt take a bath for a week. It was horrible. So that's my story of my open heart surgery. I had a hole the size fo a quarter in my heart and three fo the four arteries in my heart were leaking. That's why I had open heart surgery. Thank you and leave a comment!!

	I was there when you had your heart surgery, my dog died that week also.

	thats so sad!! crying at least you got a comfort toy(if it helped at all) i had to have a camera shoved down my throte one time so they could find out what was wrong i also had stitches in my head twice but nothing was as seriouse as open heart sugery SCARY! glad your better know biggrin
