Old Year's Eve was quite a lot of fun, sleep deprivation aside.
I studied a little (O_O) before going to town to meet Lynn, a girl I know from university (further elaborations would take too long).
Actually, I had gone a little early so I could crash at the outpost first. To play magic. But as my luck would have it, they were closed. On OYE. Just like any customer there would need to go to parties &_&. So I dwelled the town for a while, grabbing some food.
Eventually though, Lynn showed up and we could head for Chris' place (Chris being Moondroplet here on gaia and a frequent commentator on my blog) to pick her up. We had to hang around her place for a little bit due to parental restrictions (not complaining though, we got free alcohol there. Free alcohol is good) before we headed for the streetcar which took us all the way to the other side of Antwerp. Beh. Perhaps it was not the most practical approach ever, but we made it through the huge throng of partying idiots and got to our 'place to crash' - Lynn's house.
Chris had brought her Playstation 2 and I had brought two silly games which we could play. Lynn had Mojitos, making excessive use of rum and lime juice, which kinda woozed up the entire evening.
Let me tell you, playing racing games when woozy is really really fun, watching tipsy people race little yellow birds on rockets even more so. (Chocobo Racing FTW)

Since each of these events needs to have a wonk somewhere, I had brought Lynn a present for the New year/Christmas &traditional malaysian purple nightdress& but since Lynn was kinda sad because she had a recent break-up, I was assigned as cheer-up person. I honestly hope the pictures of me in that nightgown never hit the intarwebs. If they do, I'll hide.

And just for the record, I never shouted assrape, nor did I squeel it. I clearly stated a**-u-are as a variant form of assure. sweatdrop
It got a little weird.

So, to get my moral revenge on those two, I managed to win each game we played. Huzzah ^^

Then around 5 in the morning, all our batteries were kinda drained, so we just crashed there till noon.
Overall, a lot of fun ^^
