Mordraugsereg Shinji_Shiranui Mordraugsereg I have no idea if what I am about to say is a spoiler so I am just whiting it out. > I'm rewatching the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight at the waterfall. I am getting a completely different vibe from the scenes then I have gotten from the past times that I have watched it. After Naruto tell's Sasuke that he was the first tie that he made, Sasuke looks surprised. That I've noticed before, but now it also seems like he was a little hurt that Naruto had not told him sooner. Then, when Sasuke uses Katon, ryuka(o) no jutsu on Naruto and realizes that Naruto was the first Naruto in the Line of Naruto's and had gotten the full force of the jutsu he looks afraid, and at one point sad, of what he had just done. And to snap himself out of his fear, he tries to convince Naruto and himself that he cannot return by saying, "You're too late now, Naruto!" And then further, if Sasuke was actually still willing to kill Naruto at this point, after doing the pilldriver, why did it seem like he was going to puke.
Before, I thought that Sasuke and Naruto were fighting for the reason that Naruto wanted Sasuke to stay and that Sasuke didn't want to stay. Now I feel like Sasuke may have returned, but for the fact that he didn't want to look weak by being brought back by Naruto. < Please don't hate me for the way I feel. I just wanted to share what I thought while watching this part in the series again. spoilers: Well if you remember Sasuke was dead set to kill Naruto and to gain a Mangekyou Sharingan at the beginning of the fight. Then at the end he changed his mind and let Naruto live and said that he'd gain power in his own way. This means that some of what Naruto said was true and that things were going on in his head during the battle.
After the Kage Bushin whip and Sasuke gave Naruto the Dragon fire jutsu I think he was a little shock at the chain of moves that just happened. Both of the moves were very powerful and both of them hit. Also keep in mind that those moves were not part of the manga so who knows what those looks were supposed to mean. True, very true.
Like I said, I was just sharing how my feelings had changed, but I can see how he could be shocked too by how some of the events unfolded.
Mordraugsereg Shinji_Shiranui Mordraugsereg Oh and I know a while ago, a conversation was started about how Naruto should have learnt to use the Rasengan without a clone, and then someone said that he didn't need a clone during the Sasuke vs. Naruto battle, that could be because the chakra moves on its own and thus acted as the clone.
o.0... thats another crack idea of mine. If I'm starting to get annoying, I allow anyone to hit me upside the head with a frying pan. I don't know if that's the reason why. I always thought how he could do something like that is because the Kyuubi chakra always made it easier for Naruto do to what he wanted to do. He can summon Gamabunta easily with that chakra. With him being in the chakra shroud he was working on a fairly primal level and probably just went for the rasengan on instinct and if you couple all the times Naruto had done the rasengan in the past it would be easy for him to just make one without thinking about it. That's just my thoughts on that though. Before, that was mentioned, I think by you infact. I can see that reason as well, but I figured that I would throw in my own two cents... even if it was about 10-20 pages too late sweatdrop
I'm hitting the hay before anymore of crack ideas come to mind.
