"Uh- Am I interupting something? Sorry," Kiba appologized.

"Kiba don't go in, they're-!" Hinata stopped, "Oh- I guess you already know,"

"Hmph," Shino stood up, turned around, and left through the back door.

Ch4

You sat up and watched him go. Then you turned to Kiba.

"______?" He backed away.

You rose up off the couch, "Kiba..."

"______, I'm sorry," He cowered against the wall.

"Kiba, you big jerk!" You landed a punch on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know you two were gettin' so cozy in here," Kiba rubbed his arm.

You turned away from him to hide your blush, "That has nothing to do with it,"

"Right. Of course," He grinned, "Don't worry. He'll come back. He just gets moody like that sometimes,"

"In the meantime maybe we should watch a movie or something," Hinata suggested.

"Okay, okay. Stop crying, ______," Kiba had his arms around you comfortingly while you sobbed. He turned to Hinata and whispered, "Who's idea was it to watch a sappy romance?" She shrugged.

"Well you take care of her for a second. I'm going to get her some water," Kiba went into the kitchen. Man. Shino's dead the next time I see him! Just then Shino entered through the back door.

"There you are!" Kiba cried, "Why'd ya have to up and leave like that? Do you see what she's been like while you were out sulking?" He waved his arms at you in the living room.

You and Hinata were still watching the movie. You were stuffing chocolates into your mouth.

"I love you. You complete me," The guy on the movie said.

"Liar!" You shrieked and heaved the box of chocolates at the screen. A new wave of sobs filled the living room.

"Ya see?" Kiba said angrily.

"I'll talk to her," Shino said quietly.

"Please, c-calm down!" Hinata begged, cradling your shaking form. You held Akamaru tightly and sobbed into his fur.

"Arf!" He struggled to get away.

"______," A voice said calmly. You looked up. Shino was neiling next to you on the floor.

"Shino?" You sniffed, "What do you want?"

"I need to talk to you," He said. The two of you walked out into the backyard. It was dark and quiet now. You sat together, side by side, in the middle of the trampoline. You were feeling rather drowsy now. Crying had taken all of your strength. You started to nod off. Shino put his arms around you to keep you from falling flat on your face.

"You drained yourself by crying all that time, didn't you?"

You nodded. With a sigh he layed you down on the trampoline and snuggled up to you. Laying there with him so close, you were so comfortable you almost fell asleep.

"______?" He whispered.

"Hm? What is it?" You asked.

"I want to show you something," He said reluctantly. You both sat up. He stood up and looked at you for a second. A small beetle appeared out of his jacket. Then more and more until they were pouring out. At first you were afraid. Then one of them landed on your arm and you recognized it.

"Your the one who sent all those bugs. You saved me," You stood up.

He looked startled, "Yes,"

You threw your arms around his neck. You both fell back onto the trampoline. You burst into laughter then layed your head on his chest. His heart was racing again.

You looked up at him, "Shino?"

"Hm?"

You smiled, "Thankyou,"

He nodded in understanding. You could hear his heart getting faster. Then he suddenly sat up, slipping his arms around your shoulders.

"Shino?"

"______, there's something I have to do," He told you.

You looked up to say something else and discovered he was right up in your face. You leaned forward...

"Kiba-kun, look!" Hinata pointed at the figures on the trampoline.

"What the-?" Kiba yelled, "Shino- he- he's actually-? This is Shino we're talking about!" The couple out on the trampoline was in a liplock.

"I guess it's good that he finally has a girl. I was startin' to wonder..."

"What do you mean?" Hinata asked, naivity written all over her face.

"Well, think about it. Have you ever seen him check out a girl?" Kiba hinted, "That could be a sign your not completely straight,"

"Kiba!" Hinata scolded.

"What? You're the one who asked," Kiba reminded her. He turned to the window again with an evil grin, "Now let's see how he explains the whole Shinobi thing,"
