Take a look into the darkness, hear wIth
Open ears, watch with all your heart
And for one and the briefest of moments
Listen to what it has to say. Let its words
Rush over you like a river smooth as glass
And yet colder then a blade of steel, sit
For awhile feel the true meaning of emptiness
And sorrow burning up your body with a cry
That can never be heard, a pain to deep to
Remove and see if you can still get up after
That faintest cold touch of loneliness over
Whelming you. Are you still the same,
Are you still here? Can you still breath
In the sweet senses of everything you
Could ever imagine? Can your ears still
Hear, can you still think? Are you now like
Me to confused to even think straight thoughts,
Are your hands cold from not being able to feel.
Is your whole body numb with the sweet nothingness
creeping over our heads with twisted rhymes
Of comfort and despair? Did you hear anything,
Are you strong enough to ignore it when a
Dark cloud covers you? Are you even here
And real, did I just make you up…
A fragment of my very own imagination?
But I know your real, that’s why I asked you
All this because some where inside my
Darkened heart, I know I care for you because
