McKye vs Team Snipers
Eye of the Tiger
The sun was high on burial mounds, Red Team faced off against their legendary advasaries: Blue Team. The tension was high, and the blood was thick, but tretchery was in the air. Blue Team outgunned and outmaned the unorganized Red Team, and were slaughtering them at every turn. Disheartened and moral deprived, Red Team turned upon each other. Shots were exchanged, and three out of the four memebrs of Red Team were ejected from the match. Now, one man remained against an army of Blues. One man, and his will to survive.
Time after time, the one remaining Red, McKye, was defeated, thrown to dirt as his corpse was violated by his mocking foes. They would laugh and jest at his failure, but time would change thier tune. Becoming bored with thier repeated victories, Blue Team grew restless, and turned thier guns on one another. A civil war of sorts was sparked, resulting in the ejection of two members of Blue Team. And so the stage was set: Two Blue warriors against one lone Red.
The Blue duo continued the pummel McKye, delievering headshot after headshot to thier inexpierienced competetor. However, McKye had one secret weapon, a weapon that would spell the end for Blue Team - The will to fight.
Drawing upon his limited sniping ability and lack of aim, McKye lulled them into a false sense of security by pretending to suck balls at sniping. It worked, as they began to expose themselves more, and grow lax on thier determination.
Six minutes remaining. The score sits at 12 - 5. McKye had to think of something quick, or Red Team's passion for glory would be forever destroyed. And suddenly, like a voice from heaven, a song rang from the nearby computer speakers: "Eye of the Tiger."
McKye's reticule became that eye, focusing all his meager talents into a singular beam of determination and lead. Blue Team didn't stand a chance. McKye began a series of strategic movements, known to some as cowardly fleeing, but to the wary of eye, this is where his victory began. He had flung his enemies into a state of confusing and frustration, allowing him to single them out and pick them off individually.
13 - 9. Three minutes left. Mckye was narrowing the score, but time was running out. He reached deep inside himself, and pulled extra grit and courage from his bag of Halo and wrapped them up with a pretty bow made from fragmentation grenades. Even though the several grenades never accually killed either of them, the served to once again lull them into arrogance and out of their hiding places.
13 - 12. McKye had once again singled them out by hiding behind a turret, and waited until they were forced from thier hiding placed by sheer bordem. McKye managed to kill one of them before his position was revealed.
14 - 13. He once again used his supirior determination and will to survive to lead his enemies back into the base, where he engaged them both in Melee combat. He fought them Rocky style, and like Clubber Lang in Rocky III, they were both defeated by the Eye of the Tiger.
15 - 14. He was in the lead now, with 10 seconds remaining. Quickly thinking, McKye hid in the tunnel of the base until the time ran out. He was spotted with 3 seconds remaining, but it was too late. The match was over, and as it ended, McKye sniped his approaching enemy before the screen went black.
And that, my friends, is how The Legend defeated Team Snipers, with a little help from the Eye of the Tiger.
