Okee so theres this guy. His name is Dustin Achenbach. He asked me to go out with him on June twenty-second, by technicallity haha.. it was like 12:30 a.m., but that is besides the point. He is amazing! When I first met him at the being of the year, he was just a guy I knew and hung out with at lunch everyday. When they started remodeling the band room around second semester, everything got messed up. Dustin went to go hang out with other wrestlers, i can only assume haha, and i kept hanging out with daphne and christine but by the benchs. I didn't really see much of him during that semester. The only time I would see him would be for litteratly two point five second in between passing periods of sixth and seventh. And even then all that would be said was, "Hey Brittany," "Hey Dustin,". Then towards the end of the year, Dustin got texting. Though it took a while, we started talking. During about the last two weeks of school Dustin came and hung out with Daphne and myself like maybe three times haha. The last day of school I was starting walking towards the band room because thats where my mother was waiting to pick me up. As I was crossing the campus, Dustin and I walked together because we had both been walking alone. So we walked, I don't really remember what we talked about, but it wasn't anything big. When we were in front of the band room i had said, "Okee, well my mom is righ there so I will talk to you later," he had said something like, "Ok, Bye Brittany," I said bye and we kinda sorta hugged. I'm not going to lie.. it was kinda of weird haha. I walked to my car and of course my mother had saw this kinda sorta hug and was like, "Who was that cutie?!?" I laughed and said Dustin. The next day I believe it was we had started texting more. We would text till like midnight or so until he would want to go to bed. During that following week we found out how much we have in common. It was crazy. The more we kept talking, the more we had in common. Then that Saturday I had been texting him and I was out with Joey and Jennifer Paver at The Shoppes and he texts me saing, "Hey what would happen if I told you I liked you? Hypotheticaly speaking," and so I told him, " I would have to tell you that I like you too. Hypotheticaly of course." and thats what started it all I guess you could say. The next day was Father's Day so we hadn't talked much that day, but that night we did. smile We were texting and talking over Myspace and Facebook all at once if I do recall correctly. Mind you I was also keeping Daphne updated on what was going on at this time and so she posted a status on Facebook saying, "Thinks that Dustin and Brittany should just go out already!" After she did that he had asked me if I saw it and I said yes. Then he was like, "I don't like asking people out over texts, can you talk on the phone?" and I said, "Yep." So he called me and we were just talking on the phone. He had kind of muttered to himself, "Why is it so hard just to say those six words?". I heard him and laughed to myself and then counted out the phrase, will you go out with me. Then he says, "Hold on" and I could hear him texting. I didn't think much of it, he kept talking to me and like a minute later he asks, "Have you gotten a text?" and I said no. He was like, " okee that text needs to hurry up and get there." A couple of minutes later I got the text and it said, " Will you in out with me? smile its perfect lol smile " and yes those are his exact words. Obviously he ment Will you GO out with me, but I understood it haha. I told him and I go the text and I said, " I guess.." and he said, " you guess?" so I said, "Mhm" and laughed, "yes." I could tell we were both happy.
If you would have asked me last year around november, can you see yourself dating him?, I would have said no. But I guess you could say alot has changed since then. I am very happy and I haven't had a bad day since the twenty-second of June because every morning I wake up to him texting me saying, "Good morning baby smile ". It just insures me that I am going to have a good day.
I am still with him and everyday he finds a way to keep me smiling. He has shown me what a relationship is like when you talk everyday. I really really like this kid and I hope he knows that. He is amazing in everyway i can think of. Even if he does hate one of my all-time favorite movies, Grease. Haha, but anyways, he is amazing and he is mine.
