2/16/06- I've decided to go ahead and start the flatsale now as I anticipate it will go slowly. The rest of the info below remains the same.
2/16/06- More about the flatsale: The time for the flatsale will probably be around 5 or 6 EST. Unfortuately I can't give an exact time, so we'll have to wait and see what happens. The first flatsale will be a speed sale, so first come first serve. The sale will last until all the monkeys have found a home.
2/13/06- Flatsale scheduled for Friday
2/12/06- Thread set up started.

1. Please be polite. No begging, whining, etc. Don't PM anyone unless otherwise stated. And don't bring any drama into the thread.
2. Don't steal or alter the artwork.
3. Once your pet reaches adulthood, please save it to your own host as it will be pulled off my hosting shortly afterwards.
4. The rules can change at any moment, so keep up to date on them.

How do I get a monkey?
Monkeys will be available mainly through flatsales. On rare occasions an auction or event may occur. And customs will be available. More on flatasales and customs will be discussed in the relevant post.

Can I own more than one?
You can own as many monkeys as you can afford to buy.

Do you accept items/pet trades?
Yes and yes. Items will be priced at mid guide. Please post a link to the guide you are using. Please be reasonable with item offers, I'm not keen on getting several dozen hockey masks as payment. sweatdrop Please PM me about pet trades with a link to your shop and we'll talk. 3nodding

What about roleplay?
You are perfectly welcome to rp your monkey, but it is not required at all.

There will be two different types of flatsales conducted, speed and raffle. For a speed sale, whoever posts for a specific monkey first after I say go gets the monkey as long as they are able to pay. For raffle sales, each interested user may have one free ticket. Anyone wanting more tickets will have to pay for them at 10 gold each. The winners will then be selected at random using the random number generator and choose their monkey in the order drawn.

Price: 1000 gold

Has your monkey met that special someone? If so, you may wish to breed your monkey. In reality monkeys don't tend to have many more offspring than one, but your fantasy monkeys will have a chance to have between 2 to 4 at a time. How many you get will be determined by the random number generator. The parents' owners can choose to keep the offspring, give them to a friend, or donate them for a raffle flatsale. Same sex couples can breed, and so can differing species which will result in offspring that are of the same species as their parents and not weird hybrids.
