A great thanks to Mitsu Hida, for creating this story!!

Cerberus, the three-headed guardian dog of Hell had disobeyed his master: Hades, god of the underworld and the younger brother of Zeus. The hell hound had gone to surface to suffice his curiousity, while he was there he had fallen in love with a one horned horse: a unicorn, a sign of purity and virginity. He learned later on that this magnificent creature rarely showed itself to anything but pure-hearted maidens.

The offspring of these two was considered a mistake in the making, it resulted in the birth of two, three-headed horses but the middle head would soon grow a horn in the middle. In shame of what he had spawned, Cerberus fled back to Hell only face the wrath of his master head on.

His mate, the unicorn, was devistated, no longer a virgin and pure this creature fled into the darkest depths of a dark forest with her children to hide from the world and hide her own shame. As much as she wanted to get rid of her horrific children she could not, they would a part of her and she could not forsaken that fact. In the depths of the forest the foals grew, one became a magnificent stallion, the other a beautiful mare. Instead of being shameful of their existance their mother was now as proud as could be. She had mothered a new form of life into the world.

As they emerged from their long stay in the darkness, Zeus, the god of gods appeared before them all in the shape of a human. He told them that, "That you had disrupted a delicate balance by going against your own breed. Now other creatures know about this abnormal mixture and with test themselves with creatures not meant for them." After finishing he cast the unicorn into Hell to be with her 'mate', while he sent the creatures he dubbed "Equirus" into a protected enclosure, a island that he made quickly after he heard the the news of the breed emerging. On this island any other creatures that do not belong together, their offspring will be cast onto this island and be away from any contact but eachothers for eternity.

As time passed the humans began to become curious about the unknown and since the gods could not suffice their curiousity, the humans ventured to the sea.

After thousands of years, humans had finally discovered the island that contained all of the mix breed creatures. The first they met were the Equirus', the three-headed horses. They were perplexed at how this wonder happened and how the middle head got it's horn. After doing DNA tests on the creatures they found two strands of unknown DNA in the creaures body. They returned to their country after marking on several maps were this island was. When they returned they spread the news of a new specie on that island, possibly more than one! Scientists were stunned at the samples of: blood, tissue, fur, and picture the explorers had brought back. Soon each country was sending people to befriend atleast one of these magnificent creatures and make certain that it survives.

Soon people were paying big money to own one of these creatures, but the scientists turned them down, the reason was that if these creatures were of what they thought they were descended from...these creatures need compassion and be friends, not owned.

People come to the island with high hopes of befriending a Equirus, very few amounts of people leave the island.

On the island the "guardian" of the Equirus must become a good friend with them, spend time with them, and learn their ways. This effort was in hopes of one day fully understanding were these mesmerizing creatures came from and their true nature.

After several tests done on willing Equirus, some of the top scientists of our century devised a serum that could supposedly turn a Equirus from its current three-headed state into a humanoid looking version with one head.

This process is highly dangerous and may or may not take time to certainly take effect on the speciman. Though the data that can be learned from a Equirus after this process has happened to them will be vital to truly understanding them, the process is not recommended to those Equirus that depend on their other heads to be able to function properly. I repeat: this process is not recommended to those Equirus that depend on their other heads to be able to function properly.

This process is both expensive and risky, be aware that some Equirus do not adapt and become what some people call a "anthro", other's bodies may be able to undergo both of these external, internal, and mental changes.

The serum was a mixture of both a perfectly healthy human DNA and the DNA of a perfectly healthy Equirus. After several tries and experiments later, they were able to change the form of a Equirus.

This form will help a Equirus and their human guardian learn to co-exist much easier, though it may put slight stress on the Equirus for a short time.

WARNING
Either a female or male Equirus may or may not be able to bredd properly due to affect that have taken place on the body.

Well the second year of college hasn't been very nice to me in terms of giving me time to get on gaia. This second semester though I am trying to make more time to get on and give myself a bit of time to relax. The Equirus are copyrighted to me PsychoAce56. The Artwork is copyrighted to Chibbit-chan, and the coloring is copyrighted to PsychoAce56 (Celeste & Luna did the coloring of the ones on the banners!). This includes taking the pictures and or altering them in anyway. Stealing the Artwork will not be tolerated.

2. No Flaming, or trying to cause trouble.
It is not appreciated when you do this I want to keep the reputation of the Equirus a good one.

3. No Begging, and or Pestering the owner.
I do not appreciate when people try to beg in the store. If you do not have the gold then go try and make it or beg somewhere else, just not in the store! I also don't like when my pm box is spammed, please read everything first and if you still have a question post it here.

4. Please do not pm me
I stress this because like I said in the previous rule I don't like when my pm box is completely filled up with people pm'ing me about the shop. If you have a question please post it in the shop and when I see it I will answer it. Do not pm me unless I have given the okay first.

Foal - This is the stage where your little foal is at it's most curious. They are vulnerable to predators, and often stick with adults so that they are able to survive. (Stays in this stage for 2-3 weeks)

Adolescent- This is when the young ones are a handful, and yet they learn a lot about themselves at this stage. They are almost adults and learn maturity during this age. (stays in this stage for 2-4 weeks)

Adult - The final stage, adults have finally grown physically and as individuals. They are now able to breed at this age.

Anthro- There is not much known about this stage of the equirus. The only way to ever view this stage is to give your horse a shot of purple liquid which scientists have just discovered. Your three headed horse will transform to look incredibly like a human, the only differences is that this "human" Will still have horse ears and tail.

what exactly are Equirus?
Equirus are a mythical beast similar to the beast called cerberus. An Equiras is a three headed horse, named Equi- for Equinas, and rus- for cerberus.

How can I get one?
you can get one through a flatsale, auction, or raffle, and sometimes perhaps an event.

Can I have one for free?
No, I'm sorry that is not an option.

How much are they?
They will normally be 3k at flatsales, customs are usually going to be 10k, Cosplay customs will be 15-20k depending on the difficulty.

Can I direct-link
yes, you may until your pet reaches its adult stage, and then I would please ask you to save it to your own server.

Are these RP required?
No, these are not rp required but you may rp with them if you wish. I would ask that you at least stop in every once in a while just so I know that you are still on gaia.

Where do we RP?
You may rp here ins the guild, if there are a lot of people that join, we may make a guild upon request.

Why does it take so long for my pet to grow?
for those who like to rp their pets it gives them a chance to get a feel for each stage.

How many may I have?
You may have as many as you like, but if you have a few I ask that you wait a bit on flatsales so that others may be allowed to get one.

Do you do pet trades?

Do you need a colorist?

How long does it take to receive foals from a breeding?
It can take from 1-3 weeks.

Flatsales are the most frequently held. Ocassionaly I may make them prompt required, but this will probably only occur once or twice ever.

Raffles are probably going to happen every so often, perhaps they will be free and perhaps not.

Customs and Pet trades

Regular customs are going to be 10k, if there is a spot available then all you have to do is fill out the form and send the trade.

Cosplay Customs will be anywhere from 15-30k for one stage depending on difficulty. If you would like a growing cosplay please discuss this with me because it may cost more depending on difficulty. If you are wanting a cosplay please list the character as the time, and also a reference picture. Also in the items section, list the items that you would like added to make it look more like the character.

This recently discovered liquid can change your three headed horse into a two legged creature! That's right this shot can change your equirus into a human, though the ears and tail remain intact. If you choose to buy this shot you must fill out the custom anthro form and post it in the thread. Please note that you do not have to keep the same color scheme as your equirus has when it turns anthro. You may choose a skin and hair color that is completely different if you so wish.
