Welcome ^^

This is a contest for a shop MihaniXenon and I will soon be opening which will sell ... well ... cosplaying animals! The purpose of this contest is to find some more aritsts to help us out heart

arrow First of all, some rules...

1. Only one entry per person ... it doesn't matter if you want to enter in more than one category, sorry you can't. I shall repeat this. For the contest, only enter ONE category. So pick the thing you are best at and enter in that category.

2. If the character you want to draw as an entry has already been done, please choose another character.

3. Colorists will have to wait for some lineart to be entered and color that ... if no lineart is entered after 1 week, Manda will draw some for you to color.

4. Don't EVER PM me or MihaniXenon. Anything you need to ask, post here. All entries should also be posted here.

5. Please don't steal this concept OR any of the art involved. If you do, I'm bound to find out sooner or later and you WILL be sorry. stare

6. For the bump contest, NO CHEATING on the number of bumps. Also, no page-stretching bumps, please. That's just annoying and rather rude. If anyone catches a bumper cheating, PM me to let me know.

7. Have fun!

arrow Contest Guidelines

Since these pets will all be custom-drawn, I'm not giving you any certain character or animal to draw from. There IS a list of "allowed" animals, which is below. These are the animals people will be able to choose from in the shop. But don't worry if you can't draw all of these types of animals, you really only need to be good at one or two types. That's why I want so many artists.

So! As your entry, you get to choose what character YOU want to draw as what animal ^^. It's very open-ended, so have fun with it! Just remember, these will have to look good small. And, as mentioned before, those who want to enter as colorists will have to wait for some lineartists to enter.

The deadline will be my birthday, August 7, 2005 ^__^

arrow Special! Bump Contest ^^

This contest is much simpler ... all you have to do is bump, and when you do ... number your bumps ^^. Whoever has the most when the contest is over will win a prize!

arrow Allowed Animals

Cats (domesticated and wild)
Dogs
Ponies
Birds
Foxes
Wolves
Dragons

arrow Categories and Number of Winners in Each

There are three categories, with 2 winners being selected from each one.

Lineartists - All you'll have to do will be to draw the lineart for the pets and clean it up. ^^

Colorists - You will take the lineart from a lineartist and color it!

Artists - You do it all eek Lineart and coloring both heart

arrow Prizes!

The prize for ALL the winners will be the same ...

5000g
A job position in the shop (artists will get 50% of the profit from pets, lineartists and colorists will get 25% each when they colaborate on a pet)
Ownership of the pet you draw/color/both for the contest heart

Note - Lineartists and Colorists will have the option to share the pet they drew/colored OR get a pet drawn and colored by me ^^

The prize for the bump contest will be .... 1 June 2005 donation letter + 1 July 2005 donation letter!

As you've probably figured out by now, these pets are, bascially, animals cosplaying everyone's favorite characters from ... just about anything! heart

I don't have the actual shop thread set up yet, but when I do, a link shall go: here ^^

Here are some examples of pets that I drew and colored:

All certs will be done by me until further notice.

These pets probably will not have different stages ... unless the lineartist or artist entering the contest wishes to draw different stages. It's up to you guys ^_^

They WILL however, be able to breed. Both m/f and same sex pairings will be allowed, with the resulting pets being a combination of how the parents look. This should make the later generations very interesting...

I bet Manda is going to tell me I can't enter the bumping contest because "I co-oooown the shop". She's so mean to me cry No, not really. I was over at her house last night and I want to steal her tablet. It's so pretty. heart heart Maybe if I can get it, I can put out more art at a faster rate. XD So for Mi's birthday ((for people who know her IRL)) she wants a tablet. So she can draw pretties for everyone and won't have to wait until she goes over to Manda's house so she can scan every like 2 days. Cause Manda's family doesn't like her that much. Hell, SHE doesn't even like herself that much. Well, that's my rant of the day. Visit my Avatar Art post so I can get monies. I am tired of doing freebies. Stupid freebies. No, not really. I enjoyed doing them. Just no more freebies. I will trade for pets. Pets GOOD.
