Northern Region

-A small area north of the main roaming plains of the House of Earth. Mostly made up of the Emerald Plains and the northern beaches of Lake Eden, this is a common crossing point for stray foxen who wander out of the artic. Ticorns rarely go this far north, where the weather is often colder then they like and quite unpredictable, but some outcasts of the house have been known to roam here.-

Layla strayed away from plains in which she had been resting upon. The weather was far colder than she would have liked and she needed to move to keep the blood flowing through all of her limbs. With a faint smile, she looked about for her mate, hoping he wouldn't go too far from her. Feoren's company made all the difference in the world to the young femme and so long as he was near, she would be fine no matter the weather.

Looking out in the direction of the Earth House, she smiled softly. The weather there was supposedly wonderful and although before she never wished for the company of her makeshift family, now she felt herself missing their presense. Even where she was she would still be able to see her siblings, but it was unlikely due to her tigon-brothers status. The others were far off attempting, like herself, to fit into the choosen houses. During the time she spent with her mate she never once asked them where they wished to belong. Grimacing, she lowered her maw and felt a silent tear slide down her cheek.

Layla, it seemed, missed them now more than ever.

With one final breath the struggling elk finally relaxed and clapsed its auburn eyes shut. Tunilio, a super ticorn, unclamped his vicegrip-like jaws off the dead animal. His maw clean, as he'd not broken the skin of the creature, he lifted his head and stretched his aching muscles. That was a good 45 minute stuggle but, that was the kind of thrill this adventurer lived for.

But that little bit of a stretch wasn't enough. His knees were still locked and he had a killer pain in his neck. This called for a walk, a run, a move-around, something! He threw his large head to his right side then to the left, brilliant violet locks flying in every direction. The ticorn started out at a slow trot, he felt no need to hide or guard his prey, this area was near abandoned, that why he loved it so much. He could bare the cold but the last thing he needed was facing the troubles of his past. Still trotting he allowed his mind to wander to his forgotten mate, Easter and his two daughters. "Kyana..." he muttered. he rembered her exzuberant attitude, her childish charm and how much she looked like her mother. he slowed to a halt, pads parting the frozen grass below his form. he felt terrible, why did her leave her? Why did he leave them.

Just then, a small pink figure popped out of a nearby bush. the poor creature looked so lost and dumbfounded, "Easter." Tunilio said dissapovingly, you were supposed to stay with the elk!" The small creature merely scampered over to Tunilio and threw herself over his forepaw purring and rubbing her tiny horns against his shin. He smiled 'twas bittersweet but a sign of affection no the less.

Boredom had led Kirit to this area, cold and uninviting as it was. He didn't like warmth, it just didn't feel right. He had no orders from a clan or house to keep him occupied, just as he liked. His life was is own, however he could take it, and he spent it woth joy.

A weak aura of life seemed to surround him, grass fighting for life got a little greener, a little color flushed back into withering flowers. This was simply a misguiding to the creature's true, selfish personality, a guise of a kind and giving creature,at least, to whose who didn't know him better.

Feoren took a deep breath, a large smile forming on his muzzle. He liked this place; although it was cold, it was crisp and clean. "Hmm..." The SuperTicorn snorted softly, turning back in the direction of his mate. "Layla?" He said, squinting; Feoren perked up automatically as he spotted his mate, and he set off in a gentle trot toward her.

As he got closer to Layla, Feoren frowned slightly; she looked sad, and Feoren didn't know why. "Are you okay, Layla?" He asked, coming to a stop near her. There was a small hole in the snow, where his mate had shed her tear.

Her mind was occupied with busy thoughts of her family, their possible choices and the ways she might contact them. She had already gone quite a long time without being in their presense, but they had never been so far from one another. Hearing the sound of something nearby, she turned her head back curiously, "Feoren?" Her voice was gentle, but suspicious. She did not believe her mate would walk so slowly towards her.

The noises continued and although she could not tell if they were approaching, going past or leaving, they sounded near at the moment. Shaken and bothered that her mate could not be near her, she stood her ground and awaited whatever it was to approach. The cold weather blew roughly upon her coat, causing her still form to shiver. When a form was nearly visible she heard the sound of yet another form nearing, and then another! Fear suddenly filled her mind.

Before she had a chance to turn and leave the area she was currently waiting in, she spotted the massive form of her super hybrid mate. Smiling suddenly, she padded over quickly and offered an affectionate nuzzle, "I am fine, my dear," she purred, glad to be with him once again, "Just a bit lonely, I suppose.."

"Hmm, lonely?" Feoren asked, his eyebrows knitting together. "Well, let's see if we can't take care of that, ne?" The SuperTicorn nodded, smiling softly and giving his mate a kiss on the cheek.

The wind blew around the couple, causing Feoren's ears to sway slightly. He stepped in front of Layla, blocking most of the gale from hitting her smaller body. "This isn't the greatest of places for standing around, Layla..." He said, frowning slightly. "Is there anything physical you'd like to do?"

A dark charcoal form moved out from the shadows, vibrant red markings tattooed all over his coat, as blood colored eyes stare out with distaste for the land before him. Snorting he shook his massive head, the red mohawked mane he wore shifted slightly as his gaint paws/hooves carried him forward.

His transparent wings were drawn back in a semi open postion as his double horns slimmered like a pair of deadly weapons in the sunlight. A black spiked collar was snug around his neck, this Ticorn seemed to dislike everything his eyes landed on. A small little Chimera chased after him, cooing up at him lovingly. He growled at her and grinned, baring rows of sharp and deadly fangs. His tail wipped out behind him, cracking as it ripped through the air. His eyes fell on Layla, he grinned he knew that lil gem, and wondered if she could direct him towards the Earth House, wondering if she'd be headed there as well.

DarkStar shook her mane and let out a rumbling growl. Swirling around on her hunches she reared pawing at the air with her paws. A DarkHouse pendant wiggled around on her spiked collar. She smacke dher own sides with her tail and looked back at the little male Chimera standing beside her.

Letting out another bellow into the crisp air she took off blting through the woods. She could smell her bevoled Devil on the wind lacing her ears flat she ran faster as her chimera of her mate clung to her back. The sparkling decoration that covered her ebony coat shimmered with the ripple of her movements. One single horn jutting form her forhead pierced the air as she ran gleaming like a blood covered dagger.

The kiss seemed enough to lift the bright pink ticorn's mood for now. The moment after, she smiled brightly and returned the favor on her mate's cheek. Blushing brighter than the color she already wore, she could not seem to hold back a giggle. His question confused her and although she was thinking it over the thought of others coming near did not leave her mind, "Feoren? Did you see any others on your return here?"

Sapphire eyes looked out in the distance for any sign of other approaching. The thick wind caused any scents to be blown by. When the wind suddenly picked up again, Feoren blocked her from recieving most of the impact. He also seemed to blocked most of her view as well. Lifting her two front paws onto his back to look out and over him she spotted a very dark figure upon the pale landscape. Layla recognised the male as a relative of Twilights and remembered him saying she was alright during their first meeting. Smiling at the thought, she hoped he might be approaching them. Her fear had left with the thought that the only hybrids approaching were Feoren and Devil.

Auds pricking, Tunilio turned his attention away from the chimera, listening to the calling winds of the forest. Voices, It had been a long while since this forest had any form of creature that he could understand, "Seems like this area's becoming popular, Easter. Perhaps we should pay them a visit." He grabbed the small creature and tossed her into his great tussle of a mane. "Hide" he said simply and he felt the pink chimera dig into his long violet locks.

He set off, following the vioces heard in the distance, substituting his horse-like stamina with cat-like stealth. He padded, following his ears as if they were his only guide. As he came neared he cuncured that it was male and female, but there were pescence of others as well, lurking in the forest as he. he was not alone.

Keeping his blue viods peeled he stalked closer and closer until they came into veiw. Lying on his stomach, he crouched down behind in a nearby bush. The male parted a few stray branches with his horn to clear his view of the scene. He gasped, to loud. Though in his mind he was screaming, "Kyana?" he thought when he laid eyes on the pink hybrid. he wanted to scream but he held it in realizing the monster she was standing beside. Wow! And Tunilio could've sworn he was the largest living hybrid. the striped ticorn blew his theory out of the water. He returned his gaze back over to the pink hybrid, he was too far away to justify what species it was, but it looked so much like his daughter he abandoned. Why would she be out here? Away from the protection of the Earth house? Why?

He could smell his mates scent in the air, snorting he grinned and awaited her arrival. But he continued to move forward, towards Layla, if another saw the look in his eyes. One would think he was about to feast upon her, growling he came up behind her mate and peered down at him with a sneer clearly marked across his face.

Devil thought Layla was a lovely young one, but he had no romantic interest in her, as he was in love with his mate. But it didnt stop him from being brotherly towards her and deciding not to like her mate, if he could take a level temper with Devil, he might be nicer to him...or he might make it worse...he wasnt sure. " Well hello pretty Layla.." he said, he tones were dark and demonic in a charming sort of way.

Dark emerged and saw Devil near a female and male Ticorn..normal she'd attack any female who got close to her mate but she knew Layla. Snorting she let out a growl and trotted twoards the three her tail whipping back and forth with cracks and snaps.

Her little chimera paced right along behind her mimicking her movements. It mewed and growled playfully before hopping ahead then stopping and waiting for her to catch back up to it.

Unsure of how many hybrids were truly around her, Layla returned to her suspicious state, worried that soon both her mate, Devil and herself would be surrounded. Unprotected by the Earth house as she would have liked, she often worried for the safety of both herself and the others. Many auras suddenly came near at surprisingly quick speeds. Sapphire optics stared up at her mate for support and her voice came out quietly, "....how many other hybrids are about, my dear?" Growing even more paranoid, he vocally announced one of her biggest fears, "The dark house is welcome on this territory...I do not believe they would take kindly to us."

Hearing a familiar voice, her furred head turned to look in Devil's direction. His compliment caused her pink cheeks to turn red, "Why hello Devil! It is wonderful to be in the presense of familiar companions!" Since their meeting Layla had always had an interest in Dark, but it was nothing compared to her love of Feoren. His interesting wings and appearance caught her attention instantly as she had never seen another ticorn like him. Blushing still, she worried her mate might grow jealous of the two conversing. It would need to come up that Dark possessed a mate and was no threat; this would be said in privacy of both Feoren and Layla of course!

When a dark aura suddenly overwhelmed Layla, she was relived to see Dark and her Devil-chimera. Dark was a dark house member as the pink ticorn had feared, but she knew of her and assumed she would not become violent towards any in the company of her mate.

"Hmm..." Feoren narrowed his eyes, trying to spot any Hybrids in the area. There were some around, but his vision got fuzzy as he looked farther away, so he wasn't completely sure. "I...yes, you are right, Layla.." The SuperTicorn nodded slowly, instinctivly circling around his mate as much as he could, in an effort to protect her from everything at once.

Feoren watched Devil and Layla talking, his ears perking as he picked up the dialogue. Layla was very pretty, so he didn't mind Devil's comment, but he didn't want it to go any further; he loved his Layla very much, and since they had just recently got together, he was still a little tense and could lean toward the jealous side.

Before Feoren could further contemplate the dialogue, another Hybrid approached. He sensed her dark aura, but at the same time also noticed that Layla didn't seem to mind her, so he relaxed a bit. As long as they knew Layla, Feoren wouldn't worry about them too much.
