Name: Ashida Chizumi
Age: 27
Stage: Wandering Spirit
Gender: Female
Birthday:
Death Date:
Personality: Chizumi is, by almost any definition, a trouble-maker. Not to say that she is willfully rebellious, or even a happy prankster - no, she's a trouble-maker because she's nosy. She will cheerfully poke her nose into every corner of your business until you are ready to poke her eyes out (although even that might not stop her curious nature). As a result, she usually has an opinion on just about everything, and is ready to heap advice onto you, if you just ask. She has trouble taking her own advice, however.

Her busybody nature has also manifested itself through one method that some people find particularly annoying, and others delight in: matchmaking. She loves nothing more then then to matchmake (although it has some healthy competition from her other favorite activity), and Chizumi considers herself fairly good at it. Normally, she's more likely to try with people who actually approach her for help; if no one is distracting her however, and she gets bored, she tends to start attempting to match people who would rather be left alone.

Now, once you get past her busybody nature, she can be very easy to get along with: she's cheerful to a fault, and is very difficult to make angry. When insulted, she often seems more amused then anything else, if she even notices that she was insulted in the first place (which she often doesn't; Chizumi has never claimed to be intelligent). However, her laid-back nature about everything can cause trouble - especially when it comes to responsibilities. She can be very responsible, but she tends to have a few faults that keep her from her duties...primarily, a love of alcohol.

Chizumi is happiest when she's drinking, and if you see her in the evenings, chances are that she's partaken at least a bit. She usually is not full-out, falling down drunk, however; her tolerance is very good. Typically she will appear only slightly drunk (if a bit wobbly).

Likes: Drinking, or any kind of indulging. Matchmaking (which can easily take up most of her spare time if she lets it), being around people, and entertainment of any kind.
Dislikes: Being told 'no', having to sit still, and birds. Not to say that she's scared of them, of course - she just really, really doesn't like them.

Family Friends Apathetic Dislikes Hates

Fujiyoma Chiharu: She seems like a very clean cut, orderly girl. Despite that she does seem to know how to have fun, so I'll need to remember her...

          SPIRIT FORM - - -

          ยป username : Paivanni
          ยป spirit wanted : 1
ยป spirit name : Ashida Chizumi
          ยป preference : Second
          ยป prompt number : 2
ยป prompt reply : The day had been an especially nice one; even if there hadn't been a festival, people would have been out and enjoying it. In fact, some of them were being a bit raucous in their celebrations.

'I think that would have something to do with the high amount of spirits consumed. Sounds about right to me...consume a high amount of spirits, have high spirits.'

And no one had ever claimed that Chizumi's jokes were anything but bad.

The streets were busier then they'd been just a short while before; as the evening grew deeper, the area she was in becoming very popular. No real surprise there, as she was sticking near the places they could go to find a little liquid paradise. If it weren't for a little nagging in the back of her mind, reminding her that if she did happen to partake a bit, it might not reflect on her too well.

Especially if she decided to start singing. The last time she'd done that, Chizumi hadn't been allowed back in at the place; when she'd tried to, she'd been regaled with tales about how her singing had made other guests believe the place was being attacked by a screeching cat with a mangled throat. The workers had even insisted that some guests thought the place to be haunted, after that. Chizumi had offered to sing again, to prove it wasn't, but they hadn't seemed to appreciate that offer very much.

'Well there are two who could probably do with a little more of that kind of caterwaling...they're making enough noise out here, and they aren't even having fun!'

Two men had apparently decided to take different route the ripping out the ears of any innocent bystanders; instead, it would seem they'd decided to try ripping out each others ears. Or hair. Whichever they could get a hold on, really.

Chizumi thought they might actually be trying to hit each other, but they were so unsteady that they had to hold on to do anything; hence the ripping and tugging motions, instead of swiping and hitting. It really was a pity she couldn't let it continue: she would have liked to see if either of them actually could have managed to yank out some hair.

"Hello there sirs!" Sliding over to them, she reached out to try and pluck them apart - and it would seem that pluck really was the right word, since the two of them fell away from each other so easily. In fact, Chizumi was already regretting making that motion - they were heavy. And apparently couldn't stand up without something supporting them.

'Too bad I can't just dump them here; they might get in someones way.'

But luckily, Chizumi had a pretty good idea of where to drop them.

"Now, now, you two should really learn to fight better then that! If you're going to make me do my job, I'd like a bit more of a challenge..." She pulled the two flabbergasted looking men in closer, and gave them a cheeky grin as she spoke again, "You know, I might have heard a way to improve your fighting skills...I promise that if you do this, you two will certainly manage to do more then pull hair!"

The two drunks seemed to like that idea, although Chizumi wasn't entirely sure; she might be very familiar with the speech of someone who'd partaken a bit too much, but even she wasn't entirely fluent in the language of the drunk. Unless she'd had at least a little to drink of her own, of course.

With what she assumed was their consent, she turned and dragged them back into the building they had just left. She knew one very swift way to end a drunken squabble, after all.

It was a very short while later that she exited, looking in higher spirits then she had upon entering. Those two drunks were nowhere to be seen, now; she'd left them inside. And she hadn't been lying when she said they'd do more then pull hair - they'd managed to bruise themselves very heavily, she was sure, when they'd finally fallen over after consuming yet another drink

They couldn't exactly fight when they were snoring on the floor, after all.

Chizumi had miscalculated a bit, though; she'd thought they'd take a little bit more liquor then they had. So really, it was her duty to finish their drinks for them; letting good liquor go to waste was a crime!

And what her superiors didn't know, wouldn't hurt them.
