personality ;; At first glance most would think of Chiharu as a responsible person with no room for fun. She's a rather avid peacekeeper and usually won't tolerate those having unnecessary fights. When she encounters those fights she'll try to come up with a diplomatic conclusion that'll please everyone, but of course not all of her ideas are accepted peacefully. Most would think that Chiharu is a big pushover and always wants the easy way out that doesn't include fighting, but they're horribly mistaken. Sure she prefers to go about things the peaceful way, but when needed she won't hesitate to pull out her sword.
Sometimes when people first meet her they'll tend to stay away thinking she's too serious, but when Chiharu makes a friend she'll gradually be able to open up to them more. She may come off soft spoken, but people can get a rather pleasant surprise when they get to know her. She's not just about work, work, work, and more work, and can actually joke around with close friends. But... That's only if the other party has what it takes to gain her trust.
Under certain circumstances Chiharu can seem like a whole different person. When she meets someone who generally pisses her off she'll show a whole other side to them. One that's not all soft and disciplined like her usual self.
overall appearance ;; Fit at seventeen, Chiharu weighs 115 pounds while being five foot three. Her preferred clothes are usually adorned with butterflies. Chiharu's ebony black hair is usually in a clipped up ponytail. When down her hair can reach just slightly above the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a bright blue and are often the highlights of her face. Chiharu's bangs are usually just left alone when she does her hair and flow in their natural direction. Finally, the strands of hair that are too short for the ponytail cradle around her face.

biography ;; Chiharu was born into a middle-class family that had a little more excess money than most other families, but not by much. They had high expectations for her when she started school. Her grades were average in some subjects and above average in other subjects. From the day she started school she was also enrolled into some etiquette classes. There was no way Chiharu's family was willing to let her be like other juvenile delinquents as they'd call them. But, what her parents didn't know was that she was being bullied at her school by children of the lower-class families. But that was when she was a pushover. Those days ended when Chiharu's family hired their first maid, Ayame Midarashi. Ayame was no pushover and Chiharu befriended her almost instantly. Soon after it became Ayame's job to pick Chiharu up from school. That was when she discovered the bullies. Even though it wasn't required of her to deal with it herself she helped out Chiharu and taught the bullies a lesson. That had really inspired Chiharu to stand up for herself and not be so easily swayed. From that day on Ayame was the perfect friend to Chiharu.
Ayame had stayed the Fujiyomi's family maid until that fateful day... June 3rd, 2oo9. Ayame and Chiharu had been driving home from school when all of a sudden a car veered off its path and headed straight for their car. It had been a devastating crash and only the drunk driver that had crashed into them survived.

» zanpakuto name: Yukiko [ "Snow Child" ]
» sealed appearance: Her sealed appearance is that of an average katana. The length of the sword is 27'' and the hilt is 10'' making it 37'' overall. The threads at the hilt of the katana are dodger blue and yellow. The sheath of the sword is also dodger blue, but it has no yellow on it. Reference Image.
THE SHIKAI Freeze all air, Yukiko!
» appearance: When released the air, or condensation, around the sword freezes forming a sort of ice casing around the sword. The casing plainly covers the sword first, then adopts a sort of sharp scaly texture, making even the dull edges of the katana deadly. This ice however, is not ordinary ice. It stays intact and doesn't melt as long as the user, Chiharu, still has reiatsu.
» abilities: When first released, butterflies of ice temporarily swirl around the sword insuring a successful release. Once fully transformed the butterflies start to melt, but should someone other than Yukiko's wielder make contact with the butterflies as the sword undergoes transformation that small part of their body, sword, etc. becomes frozen for a few minutes. During battle, when the sword is in shikai it can numb the body part of wherever it hits for a few minutes. It doesn't paralyze the opponent or anything of the extreme, but merely makes fighting a little tougher on them. They can still move the numb part, but it'll just be harder to fight.
THE SPIRIT
» appearance: Yukiko is a small serpent-like dragon. She has miniature hind legs and arms. She's pure white with piercing blue eyes. She doesn't have normal dragon wings, but she does have butterfly wings. They're made of a never melting ice and are where her normal wings would've been should she have had them.
» personality: Yukiko is a very cold, distant spirit. She doesn't talk much, but from time to time she'll give Chiharu advice while they fight. Though she'd never admit it, Yukiko admires her owner and can get very protective of her. Should someone hurt Chiharu in any way without a very good explanation she'll go out of her way to make them pay.

It's a festival in Rukongai and you've just been tasked with your first job as a Shinigami: making sure nothing goes wrong. Patrolling the crowded streets of Rukongai, you hope everything goes well, that there will be no trouble going on but apparently something does. You notice a commotion while patrolling only to find two drunks locked in a fist fight. How do you address this situation?
» prompt reply : The sky was colored in multiple shades of pinks, violets, and blues as evening approached the Rukongai. Chiharu had been patrolling the Rukongai since earlier that day. This was her first task as a beginner Shinigami and to be completely truthful she had expected something of a more exciting day. So far nothing out of the ordinary had happened, there were children playing and adults conversing with one another, nothing that had been really worth noting. Chiharu was beginning to consider reporting to her higher-ups when she heard faint shouts in the distance. She had wanted to dismiss this as merely her imagination when it happened again, this time she was sure that it wasn't just her. She ran in the direction of shouting almost hoping that there was something going on.
It wasn't easy to explain the feelings Chiharu felt as she discovered the sources of the shouting she had heard. She was dismayed yet somewhat relieved to find out that it was only two drunks locked in a fist fight. Still, things would get out of hand if she didn't address the situation. It was evident that just talking wouldn't solve the situation so she figured that an intervention would be the best. Taking a deep breath, she stepped between the two drunks restraining both of them with her arms. "Wha---?", stuttered the first man in confusion as his punch missed. "Please stop this fighting immediately.", Chiharu commanded gently. They probably heard her, but refused to listen and struggled to get out of her grasp. Chiharu sighed and looked around to make sure that no one was near by. To her satisfaction there weren't any others near them. She sat the two drunks down carefully and asked them for an explanation as to why they were fighting.
After a while the first drunk finally explained that the fight had started when the other drunk had tried to steal his girlfriend. Chiharu bit back a remark at the other guy and asked him for an explanation for his actions. He explained that he didn't know that the girl had been with the first drunk so he had thought that she was fair game. Chiharu resisted the urge to give that guy a pounding for his disregard for woman and calmly spoke to the both of them. "Firstly, what are your names?" The first drunk said that he was Itoshii and the other said that he was Hikaru. Chiharu sighed and quickly thought of something to say that wouldn't anger or offend either of them. "So, Itoshii, Hikaru obviously didn't know that he was tryng to hit on your girlfriend. If Hikaru will apologize will this meaningless fight be comprimised?", Chiharu offered. "I guess...", mumbled Itoshii. "Good.", Chiharu replied with a smile before giving Hikaru a look. "Sorry...", he mumbled almost inaudibly. Itoshii had obviously heard his apology for he nodded and walked away. Hikaru left almost immediately too, going the opposite way. Chiharu let out a relived sigh and sat down on a nearby chair. That wasn't too hard, she was glad that she had been able to stop them from fighting before somebody got seriously hurt. "All in a day's work.", she said happily before standing up and heading back to report to the higher-ups.S t a f fxxR e s p o n s e xxxxmm at first it felt like she was the nice-nice type honestly xD;
