"Gotcha you little bugger!" Katsuo snatched the little bag from the side of the tree with his left hand, as his right was still hung in a sling. It had been over a month since the incident at the moon-viewing, but he was still incredibly sore. But he'd been getting plenty of pampering since then by plenty of beautiful girls.

Speaking of which, even though his partner had a bit of an attitude, she was pretty good looking too. "Hey, Kohane~" he called out in a singing tone. "I got one!" He held up the little bag of konpeito. The little things were made completely out of sugar and if he'd been sure they'd get the points for an empty bag, he'd have stuffed his face full of them.

She was eating them already, the idiot - well, just one. She didn't want to let the poor, delicious mochi go to waste now, right? Of course not. Nami was still eating when she walked along the river, trying to make sure she didn't miss the little bushes and plants growing around, the bag of mochi still in one hand. Where was her partner, anyway?

And that was when she spotted a little piece of ribbon behind a tree not too far from where she was standing. Quickly, she ran toward it, before a smile crossed her face - the best she could do with mochi still in her mouth. She found another one.

Keitaro, though seemingly at a disadvantage, not being able to see and all had found his own way of 'looking' for sweets. Though it was still rather difficult with all the tasty treat stands hanging around. But he was used to the familiar scents by now. This time he was looking for something new. Something out of place. And before he knew it, his nose had picked up something delicious. Resting nearby, he found a bag of sweets, expertly hidden in some pottery. "You found some Chiharu? I found some too!" he shouted.

After making sure that she's pocketed the bag safely she wandered closer towards where Kei was. The shouting from across the streets to one another would get old pretty quick anyway. "That's fantastic. Keep up the good work!", she said while adding a rather remedial thumbs up. Was he even able to see it? "Hm... Want to split up? We'll cover more ground.", she suggested all the while stifling a yawn. She wasn't too sure why she had signed up for the event in the first place, other than the fact that she had been "highly encouraged" to do so, but it seemed unfair to her. Wouldn't they somehow in someway have an advantage being academy students and all? They were supposed to have honed their senses somewhat anyway. Turning around she almost collided with a nearby tree. Reorienting herself with a slight grown she looked up to see a candy bag hidden within the branches of the tree. Plucking it out she pocketed it and looked around for more.

A flash of color caught her eye as she wandered the street and looking down she picked up a bag of mochi. It was interesting how that one hadn't been hidden and more so that she hadn't stepped on it, but a find was still a find, and with this candy bag she'd collected one bag of each kind. Suddenly her stomach grumbled and Chiharu looked around the streets uncomfortably. Had anyone heard that? She groaned inwardly as she fished around her newly acquired bag of mochi. It couldn't hurt to just take one, and besides, other people were doing it too!

Her gaze wandered off behind Yemon, spotting a bag on top of a tree branch. "Hey, look!" she exclaimed, quickly running over to the tree. Her eyebrows furrowed - how was she supposed to get that? She muttered to herself before attempting to climb the tree, failing to do so in her first trial. On her second trial, she managed to get up the branch where the bag was, hurriedly walking along said branch to get to the bag. Opening it quickly, her face lit up. "It has those candy things! Pfft, I don't need yours anymore."
