So far, I've checked out a lot of stuff...and well,

2007-releases:
1. Electric Wizard - Album 6 (Rise Above/Candlelight)
I really hope these guys bring something out finally.
2. Electric Wizard - DVD (possibly could go with the album...) (Rise Above/Candlelight)
Same here.
3. Orange Goblin - Healing Through Fire (Sanctuary)
A little more gritty, dark, but it's still the Goblin. The DVD is alright. Their lead singer is a giant monster of a dude.
4. Earth - The Bee Made Honey in the Lion's Skull
It's ******** Earth! This band really can't do wrong.
5. Witchcraft - Album 3 (Rise Above/Candlelight)
Estimated for Easter, so yeah. Easter passed. Where's the 'craft?
6. Misfits - Album 8 (Misftis Records)
I'll believe it when it happens.
7. Church of Misery - Live in Red (My Own Salvation)
This DVD is fantastic. Lots of insanity, lots of music, lots of heaviness.
8. Earth - Hibernaculum (Southern Lord)
Very cool. The old remakes are fun and A Plague of Angels is pure, warbling drone. The DVD is hilarious because Dylan's like a cheerleader on horse tranquilizers.
9. Boris W/ Merzbow - I Am the Walrus (Hydra Head)
Ridiculously short for a 12", but Takeshi singing in bad English? GOLD!
10. Asbestos Death (Pre-Sleep) (Southern Lord)
Got it. It's alright. ******** sick as s**t in the sound.
11. Ween - new album
If it happens, it'll be mine. Ween is one of the best bands ever.
12. OM- Album 3 (Southern Lord)
Announced 1-20-06. It'll be out this summer! ******** YES!!!

Newer additions:
13. Acid Mothers Temple and the Melting Pariaso U.F.O. - "Nam myo ho ren ge kyo"
One song over 65-minutes. It's like one big psychadelic ritual.
14. Ween- The Friends EP
Confirmed.
15. Melvins - ???
You just know they'll release SOMETHING this year...
16. mono - GONE EP Collection
A collection of rarities on one disc and three LPs. I'd say it's about friggin' time.
17. mono - The Sky Remains the Same as Ever DVD
mono.....on DVD. That alone puts a smile on my face!


A lot of love for Candlelight & Rise Above with a hint of Southern Lord tossed in.

I just hope this year I don't go overboard with the cd buying. 600 bux on music last year!!! lol
