New Journal
I just made my new account for gaiaonline.com today. I am sitting on my futon with a cold and I have been sick for more than a week. It has been too warm outside for me to breathe well, so I am staying inside with the airconditioning working.
I made a friend named Courtney on Gaia already. Tonight I might go out with a couple of my new friends in Massachusetts to see a film. Right now I am just listening to music and browsing Gaia.
There are a few items I want to dress my avatar. It is slow getting gold though! I hope someone can exchange things with me so I can obtain items from the shops.
I am waiting for my new ATM card for my chequing account to come in the mail. Until then I cannot take out money unless the bank is open and it is closed after noon on Saturdays. I had to pay a bill, so hopefully my friends will pay for me tonight!
My spoken English is getting better I think, but I forget a lot of words. I need to talk to people more and practise listening to fast speakers. The accent in Massachusetts can be difficult to hear.
I am going to get more coffee downstairs. Maybe if something happens I will have more about which to write.
