It was the worst day of the year. It was the day when her fate would be decided. She sighed as she walked the many steps, not noticing the many stairs of her peers. Each step was dragged out, as if it could prolong the horror. Looking at her watch, she realized that, no matter what, she still had to go in.
Stopping for only a moment, she took a deep breath, trying to calm her beating heart. Then, for no reason, she ran the rest of the way to the front of the door. Lifting her hand, she knocked three times on it. No response. Hmm... that was strange.
Raising her hand once again, she entered. The door opened. Stepping inside she took her seat. Looking up, she saw that her teacher wasn't there. Instead, there was a man. The students around her, began to tease her.
"Haha! Look, the dummy decided to show up!" they cried.
She said nothing in return. Why should she? They didn't even know her.
"Class, settle down now. I'm Mr. Rockelle. You teacher, Mrs. Vocne is not here today, since she is having her baby. Today, I would like to conduct a expirment. Who would like to volunteer? How about you?" He pointed at her.
She shook her head. She didn't want to do it.
"Ah, so I see," he said and took out a small note book from his pocket. Taking the cap of his pen, he wrote down a note.
Refuses to paricate in student activities.
"So, who would like to help me out?" he aslked the class.
Everyone raised their hands up in the air. "We would! We would!" They shouted over and over.
"Well then, alright everyone, please hold on to each of the wires and make a circle," He said, connecting the two end pieces to a strange device.
She sighed asked if she could go to the library. Mr. Rockelle replied yes.
Walking along the many corridoors, she overheard the principle and two cops talking.
"..are you sure?" Mrs. Travis asked.
"Yes, ma'am we are sure. He's escaped, claiming to but a subsitute teacher. We would just like to check each classroom, to make sure he hasn't run here," the huge cop replied.
"But... what about the students?"
"Hopefully, they won't get hurt," the younger cop replied.
She stepped out in front of them.
"Excuse me," she asked.
"Yes?" Mrs. Travis asked.
"Um... nevermind!" she walked away, looking behind. But heading toward the water fountain, she turned back too look ather classroom. Mr. Rockelle... could he be?
Her question was answered as there was shouts and a huge light. She smiled to herself, they had gotten what they had deserved. Taking a slip from the water fountain, she thought she saw Mr. Rockelle but then shook her head.
