Houshi-sama and I walked for a long time in silence, I was on edge and not mention hungry, finally I couldn't stop it from growling. Houshi-sama stopped in front of me. He turned to me and asked if I was alright. I nodded, suddenly wanting to bite him...

I held my impulses, but now I was growing weak and I knew I would die if I didn't bite someone or something soon. 'I won't bite him.' I thought, 'I won't I won't I won't.' But he kept walking in front of me, his neck showing as he looked every which way. My stomach growled one final time and he stopped again. "Are you okay?" he asked again. "N-no." I replied trying not to bite him as he came towards me. cry I held my stomach and tried to keep him away, my fangs were already showing and I fell to the ground, clenching the dirt and trying to keep myself under control, my shoulders shaking with every sob. "Sango-chan..." he started, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Go away." I told him between sobs. He just stood there and for once in his life, he actually looked scared. I could have laughed knowing that even him, being as perfect as he is, still gets scared. "You can do it." he sighed, siting in front of me now. "D-do w-what?" I asked, chocking on the sobs. "You can take my blood," he said, "I know it's a cheap gift, but it's all I have. My blood to save yours, so you can go on a little longer." He actually was crying, Miroku, the brave handsome, lecherous monk was crying! cry I cried too and sobbed harder. "N-never! I won't do it! I couldn't do that to you!" I banged my fists into the ground, holding back the urge to bite him. "Sango-chan..." he said, hugging me. "Please, I don't care as long your alive." I bit my lip and tried my hardest to keep from biting him. "I-I can't...I just can't." I sobbed. I felt a tear hit shoulder, Houshi-sama started to shake. "Please, please just do it!" he cried. "I can't!" I said. "Then make me one of you then. That way we both can live, we can be immortal together. I don't want you to suffer alone, I will suffer with you. Please Sango-chan!"

Finally I bit him and let him bite me. Now we were both chi-youkai, and now we can finally be together. I still cried but just as the sun came up, I fell asleep. Houshi-sama carried me to a cave and there we stayed for the longest time...
