I woke the next evening, with a headache, I rolled over to my side and Houshi-sama was staring at me. I blushed and he smiled and gave me a hug. I froze, then relaxed a bit hugging him a bit, breathing in his very essence, never wanting to let go. He nibbled on my neck playfully and I smiled at him, wanting him to never stop.
He moved his lips to my lips and kissed me softly. I kissed him back and we stopped, getting up to go hunt for the night's food....

We spent hours looking for some one to attack, but there was nothing and the air was cold, when we walked it stung our faces. How it burned, but we kept moving until we found a human on the edge of death, begging us to take his life..And that's what we did. I felt horrible but I calmed down after the attack. I soon was tired and we headed back to the cave. I sat down and wondered what was happening with the outside world. If Naraku was gone, if my brother was home, if the rest of the Inu-gumi was okay, if Kagome had left, if anything changed too much for us to come back...Not that we could come back anyway, but still the thought was always nice.

I sat there looking in a puddle of drippings from the ceiling, thinking of how pale I have become and how evil I looked. It was terrible and I never wanted to see myself this way, but I had to accept it. This was my life now, this is what I have become and this is what I shall stay has until the end of all eternity. How sad it seemed, that I would never meet chinchue in the next world, nor would I see my dear ani Kohaku....
