"So Akakios, how shall we do this? A two against two duel? Or would you rather fight the whole mob?" asked Yori.
"Well, I know I can take you. I would think Eladio can take Raban, seeing as how he beat their teacher, which Raban could never do. However, I would just prefer to take you all down at once," yelled Akakios.
"Stop, Akakios calm down. This is exactly what they want you to do, running in without thinking. We can not afford such a mistake. You know the men will not attack Yori without reason. If we just attack, this battle will end up in one big mess. Minutes ago, we were all fighting on the same side. How can you expect them to know friend from foe on this one?" ask Eladio.
"We really should either discuss the issue at hand or duel. Knowing you Eladio, I think we should just discuss the matter," stated Raban.
"You really think too much, Raban. I follow Nahuel and no one else. He is the leader of this fort," replied Eladio.
"Even if it goes against all that we stand for? And even breaks commands from our homeland?" asked Yori.
"Breaks commands from the homeland? What a laugh. What homeland? You do realize that no one here has ever truly been to the homeland. Even so what does it matter? There's nothing there. In a few hours, the homeland will be destroyed. We might as well help the victors of the war," say Akakios.
"What? Akakios how could you say something like that? The war hasn't even gotten that far into our territory. Besides, you have been to the homeland. Have you truly forgotten it?" demanded Eladio.
"Why are you asking that? You know that to follow Nahuel is to abandon that place. Besides it's be forsaken by everything. It will be destroyed soon enough. You do know that Nahuel will become King of this land. Then we will be given our rightful titles," laughed Akakios.
"Rightful titles? What do you mean by that? You haven't been promoted because you have shown any effort in supporting your fellow soldiers. You are too self-serving to be granted a high rank," said Yori.
"Oh, really. That's alright. Coming from you, it almost seems like an honor. Anyway I tire of this nonsense. Fight me, Yori," shrieked Akakios.
"Wait, Akakios!"
With that Akakios attacked Yori. Yori was able to draw his blade in time to protect himself.
"Everyone stay out of this. This is their battle. Eladio, who do you agree with now? Will you still support Nahuel and Akakios?" asked Raban.
"Everyone stand down. We will back away from this battle," replied Eladio.
So those around them stepped back far enough to give Yori and Akakios room. No one wanted to be accidentally drawn into this battle.
