Kitty and Kay were created many, many years ago as parody fanfiction characters. They eventually evolved past this -- Kitty became an actual character, whereas Kay grew out of her original personality.
Its likely they have a secretly flirtatious relationship going on that we are unaware of. Yes.
But, recently, while Kitty has always remained the same -- tight tops, loose pants -- Kay has decided she wants to emulate Miss Parker by wearing leather and going for the 90's version of sexy. I miss the 90s.
