I couldn't take any pictures of us rafting, but here's on of the river we were on:
MICHIGAN!! It's the monument at Mount Rushmore. They had one for every state. Yes, Che, there was one for Utah. I took a picture of it, but I'll show you at the party.
Mount Rushmore was pretty cool. There were guys walking around dressed as the presidents on the mountain(by the way, that's Teddy Rosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and Abraham Lincoln) answering questions.
Tyler wanted to go up to one and ask "Boxers, breifs, or pantaloons?", but we talked him out of it. I think it would have benn pantaloons.
Then we hiked up to the best viewing area, and then we hiked down.
There was a lighting ceremony, where they lit up the mountain, but first they showed a movie about how great America is. It made me want to join the army. I don't want to join the army.
All the veterans went up and we clapped for them. Grandpa went up too. He used to fix airplanes in World War II. Then they all touched a flag that flies there. 30,000 veterans have touched that flag.
Anyway, it was pretty cool. I'll show you the rest of the pictures at the party, if you want to see them.
