Its been a few years since the twin towers, but I figured I would touch on the subject today. Many of you know im from New York originally. So, September 11th is a bit more special to me than most people. In all honesty the only people who care more than I do are the people who lost a loved on in the attacks. Everyone else, Im sure you care as well. Anyways. I just wanted to have everyone take a moment today to reflect on the attacks and how terrorism of that scale has changed the way the United States operates. In fact, heres a challenge. Name one way in which the U.S. has changed in relation to the terrorist attacks that occured 4 years ago. I can think of a few ways right of the bat, but im just curious about some of the answers I'll get. So please, comment away.

Beyond that subject, Life is grand. Another day has come and gone. I spent the majority of the night on World of Warcraft with Dark. Had a bunch of fun, then finished the night of with a level up and new armor. Yes, I sound like a nerd. I know this. Just be happy anyways. rolleyes

Carl has annoyed the piss out of me again lately. He makes messes around the house which Dark and I end up cleaning. His woman friend is also not happy with him, but doesnt say anything for (what I think) is fear of him telling her to go back to Indiana. Or wherever they are from. Thats beside the point. I think its time to have a talk with Carl. And sadly, I think that its time to stop living here at the house and to move back on base until my BAH gets approved at my command. Whch at this rate will be about the time I get out of the military and go back to New York.

My double date last night (friday) didnt go very well. We went out to dinner, chatted and ate. Had a few laughs, then went back to the house to the party that was going on. Hung out a bit, and I started to notice she was ignoring me in favor of other people. Hey, thats cool. I know im not an attractive guy, so it really doesnt hurt me too much. Then we went to the bar and she ignored me completely. What the ********. Let this be a lesson to all you ladies out there. If your on a date with a guy and your not interested. First, Tell him. Second, even if your not interested... have the courtesy to stick around and chat with him a bit if he's kind of sitting off to the side. Dont ignore him, expect him to by drinks, and then chat with every other guy there besides him. That my friends is considered rude. And is frowned upon. Anyways, I ditched. Called the house, came home after I was quite drunk, and went to bed. Im not really mad about it, just irritated. Which is fine, cause im sure a lot of you would be too if it had happened to you.

Well, thats all for an update on Jodo-land. Not to interesting. No soap opera antics today. Thank god. lol
