Well another day and more crap in the world. Well Florida beat Oklahoma. I don't know how to feel. I was wishing for Florida to win in a heartbreaker and hope Texas got a good ranking but of course USC gets another turbo boost that they will eventually screw up but still manage to stay in the top 10. Ugh! I don't mind the whole bowl thing, it helps to fuel everything during the season up. But we just need to change who and what decides the rankings. Strength of schedule should be automatically thrown out because during the season teams change, players get hurt, coaches get fired. Or maybe we should group all teams into different conferences every year based on talent and te last years perfomance. This Michigan playing Appalachian State is crap. Plus they lost but thst was their own damn fault. Im sick of people complaining that a team shouldnt be playing in a bowl game because they played some unheard of school. Everyone does and yet everyone still complains. This gets annoying quick and teams should play good games all year. This whole system is messed up with little games and little teams. In high school there 5-A 4-A and so on and you have your own district and you can play whoever you want to as your first games of the season but as soon as you get into district then the teams you play from there is all that matters. This might be a good fit because all the teams in your district are in the same class. We could have teams like Texas, USC, and Oklahoma in the high class. Then teams like Florida State, Wake Forest, and and Cali. can occupy the middle class. Finally all the teams that cant find a ranking or ivy league school can have the lower class all to themselves. This isnt perfect and sure there can be more classes but I think that this is better than the crap they do now. Weak conferences with one superpower team and they get an automatic bowl bid. This way teams will only play teams in same class in their conference games. So you can play anyone you want but your conference games will count toward the bowl game. Not any other games. This way people cant complain about schedules and everyone will have a fair chance at a good bowl game. This is what I think but then again Im not getting paid 100's of thousands of dollars by every school so that their teams and only their will have a fair chance at a championship.
