-Meeting The Thief Part 3.-
The warm spring wind whipped at my silver hair behind me, flowing like woven silk. My eyelids closed around my blood red orbs as I walked along the dirten path. The ground crunched beneath my brown boots. Shinning down on my back was the warm morning sun. I had been on my own for three days, and it was not easy. Du Sundavar Freohr hung loyaly at my side, its jewled hilt capturing the light, and reflecting it back,as if bragging of its great glory and power. My deer skin pack bounced from the extra weight inside of it. I had aquired a short black cloak when a bandit had attacked me for my money. The old bandit was pleading for his life whilst I had him pinned to the tree by the blood red blade of my father's sword. He offered me a nice silk cloak he had stolen previously. I took the item and kicked him away from my path, with a scowl. I had been given many worrysome glances sence iv been traveling these past few days. My silver hair, and my pointed cat fangs were not a common sight in the towns I was traveling through. A sigh escaped from my thin lips. And I went off the trail to a large oak tree and plopped down at its grassy base. I pulled out my waterskin from my bag and took a long swing. Water dropplets fell down my neck, soaking my creamy flesh. I shook my head, and placed the waterskin back inside my bag. A smile graced across my pretty face. I heared rusteling from within the tree branches above me. A few stray leaves fluttered down and rested on my head and lap. I looked skyward, a confused expression on my face. My eyes narrowed and I turned my body half way to look up the tree. I saw a tanned face scowl and utter a curse from one of the branches. I was on my feet in a flash, my sword drawn. "Hey! W-whatr' you doin up there?" I asked in a clumsy voice, my sword held steadily in my hand. I heard a curse ring from the tree, then a snapping sound "Ahhhh!" I jumped back, my sword ready for action. I raised the red blade to strike but stopped suddenly. It was only a boy? A sigh heaved from my chest and I growled lowly. "Who are you? And what were you doing at my tree?" I walked to the boy slowly, my weapon at ready. He sat up on his elbows and rubbed his head. The fallen boy had short black hair, and was dressed in a long sleeved green tunic with a matching pair of green pants. He shook his head and opened his eyes, revealing two emerald orbs. "Answer me baka oni!" I shouted to him, clenching my teeth. He looked at me and smiled. "The names Ganzo, who are you?" I raised my eyebrow at his strange foreign accent. "My name is of no concern to yours!" I spoke sharply and with no emotion. The boy's smile dropped and was replaced with a look of anger. "Hey what did I do to you?" My growling deepend. "Do you have a weapon any where?" He looked confused but shook his head. "No why? And put your sword down!" He stood up on his booted feet and dusted off his pants with his hands. I checked him with my eyes quickly and sheethed my sword. "Why were you in that tree?" Ganzo groaned and stretched, throwing his hands into the air. I cocked my head in his direction and brushed a strand of my silver hair behind my ear. "What do you mean what was I doin? I was just sleepin in this tree right here when a little girl woke me up! And you come wavin that there sword like I attacked ye or somethin!" The boy picked a peice of grass out of his hair and glared at me. "Well I..uhh you..." I came at a loss of words so I just glared at him. "Ok i'm not gonna hurt you so can I at least know your name?" Ganzo took a step forward, his angry expression gone. Shooting him a suspciouse glare I parted my lips. "My name is Hellfire." I turned sharply and bent slightly to grasp my bag. With a flick of my wrist my bag was resting on my back and I was walking away from that boy. "Hey where ya goin?" I heared his boots crunch underneathe the dirt road as he ran twords me. "Somewhere." I said, looking at him from the corner of my eye. "Whats with all the secrets?" The dirt swirved around my ankles as I came to a sudden halt and stared at him. He stopped also and looked at me like 'what the ********?' "Your a thief." I say simply, no emotion in my blood red eyes. "What? No im not!" "Dont lie to me." My voice rang sharp and decisive, as my hand reached for my sword. "Im not I sware." My eyes narrowed and I clutched the hilt of Du Sundavar Froehr and smirked at him from behind a strand of my silver hair. "Ok ok! But how did you know?" I tossed my head back, causing my hair to fly out of my eyes. "I didnt. But why else would you be wandering around like this on your own?" I began to walk once more, but Ganzo followed me. "Well I could have been an orphan?" I shook my head and looked at him as I walked.[/color] "Nope, your chothes are too new." Speaking simply, and in a bored tone, I smirked at him, proud that I had one. Folding my arms behind my head and then leaning my silver haired head against it, I looked up at the darkening sky. I had been traveling all evening, and Ganzo still hadnt left. He didnt talk much, mostly kept to himself. Once I caought him humming a foreign tune. I finally got curiouse and asked him about his accent. He said he came from a place cald Mexico. I dont know where exactly that is, but apparently he came here on a trading ship. Hes a wandering theif. It was getting close to sun down so I stopped at a wooded area to camp. "Well I guess this is where we part." I finally said to the green clad boy behind me. I was crouched down, un rolling my tan colored sleeping bag. Hey, ya about that...how about I stick with you for a while?" I glared at him. Although his company was a bit better than just traveling alone I still didnt want him to slow me down. "No, youl just slow me down." I said, echoing my thoughts. "And plus, what if you get us in trouble beacuse of your little habit?" I stood up and placed a clawed hand on my hip. "But I mean, your a pretty girl. You need someone to protect you. And I promise if I get in trouble, i'll go down, not you." I sighed deeply and shook my head. I was tired and wasnt in the mood to fight him. "Alright, but if you get on my nerves your gone! Got that?" Ganzo nodded, and we both said our goodnights. My last thought was what I would tell my mother when I found her..then the land of Nod took me into a deep slumber...
