Another poem has been written! blaugh I haven't come up with a title for it yet.. but i dont really think it needs one. Anyways.. I wrote this one the other day for someone that i truly care about. The poem is meant to do 3 things.. 1) describe what life was like before the person came along, 2) describe what its like when they are around, and 3) describe what its like to not have them near all the time... so here it is. Enjoy cool




As I walk the broken trail,
I stumble and I fall.
The view ahead is clouded.
There's nothing here at all.

But as the dream of you becomes real,
the path starts to clear.
The lonliness starts to vanish
and I know that you are here.

From the darkened sky comes light,
and it helps to lead the way.
The clouds begin to lift,
suddenly night becomes day.

Now it's hard to fall
with a road that is renewed.
The nothingness that once was here
has suddenly imbued.

And the dream that once was you
has become reality,
giving me the strength to go on
with pure vitality.

But what has a beginning has an end
as you leave me here alone.
The cold that falls upon me,
chills me to the bone.

Now the path begins to crumble,
and the day begins to fade.
The loneliness engulfs me.
I wish that you had stayed.

Now I walk a broken trail
