A Lie

You were once my knight
My knight in shining armor
They one who saved me
The one who freed me from my pain
I guess that was all a lie
You were once my prince
My prince who danced with me
I felt like I belonged
Like I was safe
I guess that was all a lie
You are still the one I love
The one I love with all my being
I was true to you
I was the only one for you
But then you broke my heart
You took my soul
And trampled it into the ground
After you said you wouldn't again
I still love you
And you said before that you loved me
But I guess... you are a lie
