Little Part from 'Light under the door' a story I'm writing...
Henry stared out the window at the glowing stone that leaned over the cliff. He had been sitting there for a little over three hours, which was exteremly odd for a three-year-old. His brown hair almost looked black in the darkness of the room, his dark blue eyes fixed on the ground next to the stone. He had no shirt on at the time just his dinosaur pajama pants and elmo slippers. The only sound in the room was the soft snoring on his little sister, Dakota. Henry didn't move when his eldest sister came in.
Jenny walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, "Henry it's time for bed..." She said.
He didn't move.
"Henry? Henry it's time for bed it's eleven-" She started but stopped when Henry looked at her, a finger pressed to his lips.
"Shhh." He said and looked out the window, "I'm watching the girl."
Jenny looked at him with a confused look and stared out the window to see no little girl... Just the wind blowing at the grass that sat next to the huge stone in their backyard.
