Ah, hello, and welcome to this journal! Here you can find profiles of Dragon's lions (obviously) and anything else she deems relevant enough for inclusion.
Oh, er... don't mind the scorch marks. She is really quite safe. Really. O.o
On another note, she requests that any questions/comments about her journal, requests for plotting/normal RP with her lions, or anything else be PMed to her or otherwise brought to her attention. We have been assured that she does not bite. Much. And she wants them to meet more new lions!

Bai Shan is a friendly, laid-back lion with an easy sense of humor. He’s really just a big softie when it comes to cubs especially, and loves to tell them stories about the things he's seen.
Bai Shan's early childhood was happy, the only child of loving parents in a prosperous pride. But, being young and naive, he of course didn't realize how lucky he was, and was spellbound by the tall tales of a traveling rogue who visited them one summer. When the lion left, he snuck out after him, determined to become his "apprentice" and have lots of adventures too. They did travel together for a time, but the other lion was getting old and soon settled down into life with another pride. Bai Shan moved on his own after that, until he unexpectedly found himself saddled with a young cub to take care of - and realized that somewhere along the way the urge to wander had finally left him.
Now his family has of course expanded even further to include Luna, Tiernay... and his two newborn cubs. He doesn't really know what he's doing, since the only knowledge he really has of parenting is fuzzy remembrances from his childhood and glimpses of the prides he's seen, but he's determined to do it right (which translates to a tendency toward annoying over-protectiveness in situations he's unsure of). So even though he pretends otherwise, Alcarin's silence and perceived fragility do worry him and at the moment he's much more comfortable with his daughter Soli.

Past stages: [x] [x]Unlike Bai Shan, who has a slight tendency to turn mildly philosophical at times (must've picked that up from me ^.^'), Hibana lives completely in the here and now. She’s fun-loving and outgoing, always ready to play despite the fact that she's nearly full grown. She's also a bit dense when it comes to lions who may not share her optimistic view of everyone and everything, which could lead to problems if her parents can't keep her from venturing out into the world for a while yet.
Her favorite word in the whole wide world is "adventure!", much to Bai Shan's dismay. The older lion knows by now that not all such adventures are what they're cut out to be, but like the cub he once was Hibana is captivated by the idea of seeing new things and meeting interesting new people. And of course it really is his fault, for telling her so much about all the best things he's seen without thinking of what her reaction might be.

Alcarin is a bit of an odd cub. Since being born he hasn't spoken a word, and when asked if he ever will, the cub's only response is to smile and shrug helplessly. He seems content with the situation, though, because that way it's so much easier to see and hear everything that goes on. And in such a large family there is always something going on! Hibana is helpful because she's perfectly happy to chatter on and explain everything in sight without him needing to ask, and he gets along well with his sister Soli. But Alcarin's older brother Tiernay is his idol, strong and sure and completely without fault - in the cub's eyes, at any rate.
Despite what his father may think, Alcarin is far from delicate or weak and is actually much more self-sufficient than Hibana. He can spend many happy hours doing quiet mysterious things that involve whatever happens to be nearby, and because he sometimes acts like more of an observer than an active participant in goings-on, is often the first to notice new things or changes in mood of the lions around him.
