"Vampires are hardly ones to be stingy about a few feasts to replace some worthless fledglings," Debrah said, her hands on her hips. "The vampires know what we can do. They would have known that you were not strong enough to kill me. They sent you to your death, Elf. Truth be told, I have my doubts...the vampires we have been tracking hardly behaved so erratically. They seemed quite strategic in the places they chose to strike and, if some demonic power is feeding them energy, I doubt they would need someone else to step in and kill us for them. Without knowing their plans or how to combat them, we're just fleas on the back of a rhino. Annoying, maybe, but hardly making any leeway, at least not enough that we'd be posing any real threat."

"And what exactly do you base this on, Elf?" Debrah said, glancing at Anur. "The vampires already saw firsthand what we can do, they don't need to send some misinformed little assassin to figure that out."
Debrah leaned back against the trunk of a tree, looking bored now that the battle was over.
"Besides," she said, frowning at the singed bit of hair left from Eldrich's arrow, "I don't remember when you became part of 'us'."

((That's because you fail at life. Ha-ha! Also, this battle was pretty quick and we all happened to be online at about the same time while you were being smelly at a football game.))

"Debrah is right, they need not scout us out, they've already seen us battling their fledglings several times, they should know what we can do." Eldrich said.
He noticed Debrah looking at the singed bit of hair "Sorry about that." He thought for a second, and then remembered why they actually came to the forest. "So do we want to get back to trying to find that magic stone we set out to find back before this happened."

"Ok, then. Can we just move on now? I'm a very patient person, and even I am starting to feel board and ready to move on now." Said Eldrich crossing his arms.

Veslore stared down and listened close.

"Vampires? I do wonder what they are talking about." Veslore thought to himself. He decided to stick close to these travelers.

"I so doubt that the vampire we're after, after spending so much time to conceal themselves from us, would so easily send someone that could end up disclosing their location. If there are even the vampires that me and Debrah are after, they have likely moved by now." Eldrich said, knowing that these vampire weren't stupid.
"Again I must bring it up, you have an unnaturally strong sense of smell for an elf, Anur." Eldrich said again, observing him as he somehow believes that someone is in the trees.
