Lirazra was a devout nun in her former life, which carried on to her new self. It took many years, but she finally came to terms with the fact that she was no longer human and a large, spikey, furry creature instead. Though she has control of her emotions for the most part, a dark gnawing anger at the back of her mind will occasionally consume her. Why would her God let this happen to her? Why had her soul not been shepherded up to heaven? It was stolen. Sometimes, she would fall into fits of despair and rage. The next day, she would wash herself over and over again and pray zealously, wishing she could scrub the Wrath from her soul.

Rind was once a poor peasant living within the outer walls of the Red Kingdom. Like most peasants, he was always hungry but happy to have his freedom-- things could be worse. He could've been a serf or a royal fool or even some poor sap living outside the protection of the Kingdom. Now that was terrifying. Despite his appreciation for the royalty, he died of starvation. As a Kage, he found himself unable to consume life energy. Something had gone awry in his summoning, leaving him to die again... and return yet again as this horrific, mindless vassal for the fragment of his soul that remained. Occasionally he will have a memory of his wife and children float behind his eyes, and his heart will pang with sorrow-- only to have it pass, completely forgotten once again.

Life as a Kage comes naturally to Varys. He is smart, flamboyant, and sneaky. He works for the same Neverlin cultists that Panth does, making them unwilling coworkers. He is somewhat of a chaotic neutral, not caring about the goodness or evilness of a situation but instead being genuinely curious to know everything. He craves gratification. Whether that involves kidnapping children or saving a puppy-- he will do it, to see what will happen or to satisfy an urge. Though he is given orders by the cultists, he rarely follows them exactly. Instead, he will do his own thing, generally receiving more praise for his ingenuity. Though he generally doesn't trust or love anyone, he does enjoy using people. The only person he remotely trusts is an old Neverlin mage held hostage at the cultists' HQ, named Jon.
