The Story of The Glass
There once was a king and queen, and they loved each other very much. Together they had four children, three sons and a daughter, and they felt very blessed. One day, their daughter, eldest of them all, told their mother a truth she didn't like. "I'm sick of her knowing everything all of the time. Send her away!" Said the mother, at her wits end with the girls knowledge and skill. So, her father gave her a piece of the land and told her to build her own kingdom, and she did, calling it the House of Green. And peace returned for the mother at last.
One day, their first son, the second born child, threw a party for the entire kingdom that went on late into the night and early the next morning. The party was so loud, their mother couldn't sleep at all that night. "I'm sick of all of his loud parties all of the time. Send him away!" Said the mother, exhausted from his endless, noisy get-togethers. So, his father gave him a piece of the land and told him to build his own kingdom, and he did, calling it the House of White. And peace returned to the mother again.
One day, the mother was walking through the castle when she stumbled upon the door to her son's bed room open. Upon looking inside she saw skulls and blood, and pieces of bodies and other nightmarish things. She screamed and ran and had nightmares that night of what she had seen. "I'm sick of his terrifying ways! Send him away!" Said the mother, scared of everything she'd seen from such a son. So, his father gave him a piece of the land and told him to build his own kingdom, and he did, calling it the House of Black. And peace returned to the mother once more.
Much later, the last son was brought to the queen with word that he'd beaten brigade of guards for fun. When she asked him to explain, he simply told her that he felt like fighting and they were there. "I'm sick of all of his fighting and violent ways. Send him away!" Said the mother, tired of her sons violent tendencies. So, his father gave him a piece of the land and told him to build his own kingdom, and he did, calling it the House of Red. And peace returned to the mother once more.
Over time the king and queen died and the four countries fought for control, but in the end they came upon an agreement that, the area where the castle once stood was neutral, and they would keep their kingdoms separated. Thus, the Clock Tower was constructed and given to the most loyal of the knights from each family, the head of each Royal Guard, and they called themselves, the Watchmakers.
