That's right, this is your chance to get your dream child! Want an angelic princess with wings and a halo? Want an ultimate superhero who can outrun trains and move the Earth in its orbit? Just want a smiling, happy baby? If you can dream it, you can do it!
- Rules
1. This contest is a challenge of your creativity. No cosplays of existing characters allowed! You cannot do Naruto or Sailormoon. However, you may use original characters based on existing universes, so you could do your own Konoha ninja or Sailor Polaris, etc.
2. You may use concepts originally created for other shops. You may incorporate real-world myths and legends or create your own, use magic or futuristic technology, really anything you like.
3. You must be a guild member and post your concept in the Quest subforum of the guild.
4. Regular shop rules apply: for example, no living people.
5. Your concept may include as much or as little detail as you want. If you'd rather leave design work up to the artist, feel free to skimp on physical description or just have a list of suggestions.
6. Parented concepts are allowed.
7. Finalists will be selected by judges, winners will be selected by the artists from the list of finalists.
8. You may enter as many times as you like.
9. There will be at least two winners.
10. Contest ends Monday, June 25th, at 9pm EST/6pm PST.
So, with that out of the way, here's what you need to do to participate!
- Make a thread in the guild. To make things easy on the judges and keep confusion to a minimum, one concept per thread, please!
The following areas MUST be included in your concept thread: child personality, guardian background, a writing sample involving your concept characters.
The following sections are optional depending on your concept: child appearance, concept history/mythology/backstory. You are also free to add any additional sections you feel necessary.
Choose one of the payment options below and post here in this thread when your concept is ready to be reviewed using the following form:

Option One: 3000g entry fee
With this option, you'll have the normal post requirements (once per six months, six posts per year). This fee is per child, so if your concept is for twins, the fee is 6000g. Send trade/s to Dr. Akari when you submit your concept for review.
Option Two: RP Assistant
In lieu of an entry fee, include at least two shop NPC concepts. These can be general NPCs anyone is allowed to use or restricted NPCs played exclusively by you. NPC profiles should include histories, personalities, and appearance. They don't have to be extremely detailed, but enough to get a sense of the character. You may also include a small NPC blurb, such as the ones used on the main thread.
Your activity requirements would be every three months instead of the normal six (with allowances made for absences, vacations, etc). Yearly post requirements are the same as usual, six posts per year. This position would make you a junior staff member, with the chance to move up to senior staff if a position opens up and you're interested.
