The woman rushed Tenkai again, this time she actually hit. Her great sword rang as it shattered Tenkai’s shoulder piece to his armor. Tenkai rolled with it however, forcing her blade off of him and using his wakizashi to get a stab in at her side. She howled in pain and seemed to go into a wilder frenzy. Her eyes turned blood shot and her noticeable muscles grew even larger. Tenkai backed off as she screamed in rage and pain and swung her sword wildly. “Good gods...” Tenkai muttered as he watched her go on a rampage. Her sights quickly turned to him however and Tenkai quickly went on the defensive, dodging blows and blocking strikes whenever she drew close enough. When she started to wear down Tenkai knew it was time to strike. He quickly changed his stance and began attacking with both blades. The warrior used her large sword to defend but no matter how she tried Tenkai still struck her here and there causing blood to spill from her. In a desprite attempt she swung low and Tenkai jumped over the blade easily but she arced it upwards catching Tenkai’s weakly protected legs. The slash quickly sent him to the ground as she slowly stood gasping for breath. She rose her blade for the final blow as Tenkai opened his eyes to see the woman standing above him with her blood thirsty eyes. “There could be no other way could there?” He asked. She merely grinned as she forced her blade down on Tenkai. He quickly rolled out of the way, the blade scathing his right arm as he did. He jumped up to his feet and spun his blades outstretched catching the barbarian off guard as the steel of Tenkai’s swords dug into her skin. She screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Tenkai moved twords her with his blades on either side of him. As he reached her he could see she was struggling to get back up. He crossed his blades and rested them on her neck. She stopped immediately as she looked up at Tenkai’s face. “You....you wouldn’t.” She said stammering as she felt the blades against her neck. “I’ve changed.” He said. The barbarian tried to move but Tenkai moved his blade with her, cutting her neck causing a little blood to trickle from the wound. Her eyes widened as Tenkai’s face remained stoic. “I...give.” She said closing her eyes.

The crowd erupted with cheers for Tenkai, the Samurai would had climbed through the ranks as a beginner. As he scanned the crowd he could see money being exchanged with some sorrowful looks. He merely shook his head as the announcer levitated down to speak with him. “Tenkai Nankobo! A mere samurai traveling the world. It’s been a pleasure watching you rise from the beginning but I have to say I did have my doubts.” The announcer said. “Well I’m sure everyone did, even here at the finals.” Tenkai said with a smirk. “Well as you know being the Campion you get the grand prize. This large sapphire gem this lands king has so gracefully supplied us with, along with the offer of joining his ranks as a general.” The announcer claimed. The crowd cheered and chanted Tenkai’s name as he looked up to them. “I’m sorry but I’m going to have to refuse, there’s a lot I’ve yet to see.” Tenkai said. “Well here’s the gem for winning, and we’ll hopefully see you next year for the Tournament of Champions!” The announcer exclaimed. Tenkai smiled and nodded as he turned to leave the ring. “Hold on!” A man yelled over the crowd. Tenkai turned to see that a finely dressed man had hailed him. “Tenkai Nankobo, you hail from the East. You serve under Lord Toshi don’t you?” The man called. The crowd grew silent as they looked down to Tenkai for his answer. “Yes, what of it?” Tenkai asked as he looked up to the man. “It’s King Roland!” He heard a drunk man call from the crowd. Tenkai grew tense as his hands went for his blades. “Don’t think you’ll be leaving so easily. Toshi owes me a life and I’ll gladly take yours.” The king said raising his hand. The gates to the arena dropped and ten man appeared on it’s ramparts with bows drawn. Fifteen men appeared from the crowd dressed in knights armor and drew their swords. “Son of a....” Tenkai said as he drew his blades. He turned to face the archers and spun his blades. “Fire! Charge!” The king commanded. Tenkai rushed forward, chopping down the arrows that came in his path while a few sunk into his armor. He cried out in pain but he managed to bullrush a knight knocking him out cold. “Tenkai!” A gruff voice exclaimed. He turned back to see Urg, along with the cleric, the ranger, and Raphael jumped down from the crowd. The ranger dropped two of the archers while Raphael dropped two more. Urg surged forward clearing the distance between him and Tenkai in seconds and chopping through three knights to get to him. “You alright bud?” He asked swinging his axe twords some knights. “I am now, thanks Urg.” Tenkai said with a grin. “Good, now let’s get yea out of ‘ere.” He said. Tenkai nodded and waved twords the other three. They waved back and the ranger and Raphael began picking down the archers till they were no more. Tenkai and Urg squared off against the knights but they stood no match for the Champion and a half-orc. The group gathered by the gates and the Cleric quickly healed Tenkai and Urg as Urg began lifting the gate up with his bare hands. “Stop them!” The king yelled. Five more knights appeared and Raphael stepped forward with the ranger and looked back twords Tenkai. “Get going, and take care of your self Tenkai!” Raphael called. “You too Raphael, thank you for everything.” He said. “Go!” Urg yelled as he raised the gate enough for Tenkai to roll under. “Thank you Urg.” He said as he rolled under. “Thank you Tenkai.” He said. Tenkai rose and bowed to the all before he took off on a horse back towrds his lands.

He had done it. He took months but Tenkai had finally finished the quest his lord sent him on. He had finally gained his honor back and was now ready to face his companions and resume his quest to search for the beads of power.
