The story of an angel who just didn't belong
The last dragon speaker-Part 1
In the center of a burning village, a man layed spraweld out on the floor. A second man stood over him. Panther had become his name after the years of his setervice in the man known as Banisher's employe. This time Banisher was after something a little more odd. He was after some strange artifact. It didn't seem like it was worth all the trouble he was going through to get it, but then again Banisher told them little about it. Panther ripped open the mans shirt and tore off the sleeves. His eyes scaned the mans body. No sign of gold could be found. Panthers baggy longsleeve shirt hid his armblades nicely, until he wanted them to be known. The blades slid out from therir hiding place and rested menicingly at Panther's side. He smiled as he plunged both blades into the mans throat until they struck the ground, then he whiped them out, severing the mans head. He straightened out and turned to a man dressed in black robes. He was undoublty the one known as Banisher. "It's not here, sire." His voice was high and childish. The man in black turned from him and spoke in a deep raspy voice. "Let's go." At his command several men came to his side. Panther's armblades slid out of sight and blood spattered the ground gently. He smiled at the bodies left behind him. "Alright then, let's get out of this place." He turned and the group of them left the village in shambles. A horse drawn carrage awaited them outside. At the front stood a man that looked identical to panther, but with white hair instead of black. He dressed in a similar fashion as well, furthering the idea of family relations. "Not there either, huh? I told you guys." His voice was deeper than Panther's as well. "Oh well. No use waiting around this ghost town anymore." Threads ran from his sleeves to the horse's harness. He cracked them and the horse carried them off to the next village. "I'm sure we'll find it eventualy. It can't hide forever." The man at the front said to the one in all black who was seemingly their leader. "Enough, Weaver. Just take us there." His voice was cold, but annoyance could be detected. "Geez, I was just trying to help." Weaver said quietly before returning his attention to the path. Banisher was allways so mean to him, but he paid well. That's really all Weaver cared about. Even if it meant the lives of a few villages. The artifact was suprisingly hard to find, but he knew they'd find it eventualy, they just had to kill a few more villages.
(The updated version after Hotaru's help. Thanks Hotaru.)

I like this one better than the last one 3nodding One thing though, you should reference the artifact at some time before the 3rd last line. Like 'no tell-tale glint of [silver?] could be seen, and they knew he did not have it' or something like that. The title gave it away (you'd wanna tell what the object was on the second installment...) so it didn't make sense to try not to mention it when there it was, in the title... yeah.

You're right, Hotaru. I'll make those changes and thanks for reading it. Nice to know someone out there's reading them.
