Ascalon, a land of unparalleled beauty and adventures,
Pleasant sights of blue lakes and underground caverns,
Decorated by many vast forests and green hills,
Majestic snowpeaked mountains and expansive fields.

It is here that the red iris flowers bloom,
Ascalon's own unique and beatiful boon,
It is a land of peace behind the Great Northern Wall,
A precious and treasured land that is loved by all.

But past the Great Gate is a threatening force,
The Charr are invading to claim what is ours.
They kill for pleasure and destroy every yard,
Kept at bay by Prince Rurik's Ascalon Vanguard.

We battle alongside them to forge a better future,
Every soldier, spell caster, ranger, and warrior.
We will endure whatever foul magic they use,
We'll break their lines and return their abuse.

We persevere with our heads held high, we fight on,
For the red iris flower, for the Vanguard, for Ascalon!
