Lexi was originally created for an rp, but when I started writing fanfictions for Ran [who's art is featured throughout my journal, and in my sig, and as my laptop background, and ....] she ended up being tossed in there as well. She filled the role of "older sister / friend / brothers friend" kind of, although I'm not sure how. Lexi and De' are undeniably close, although Lexi tends to gravitate towards Lucifer -- De's brother -- since De' is usually with her boyfriend, Riku, and Lucifer is old enough to do things like legally drink.
Lexi and Lucifer do kiss, once, but they're both drunk and he gets a swift kick to the nuts for it.

Lexi is fairly sarcastic, and often hostile. She loves De' like a sister, will protect her willingly, but Lucifer tends to piss her off, and she makes it known. Its not a malicious sort of anger, however, and they flirt now and again. She blatantly dislikes Riku, but is willing to put aside her own feelings and interferes only when it means that Riku can fix something he's ******** up. She has no problems bullying Lucifer into helping her, either.

De', for her part, is sweet and naive. She adores Riku to the point of genuine love, and values Lexi's friendship deeply. Lucifer is another matter -- they have an iffy relationship. Although they love each other, its rarely shown. De' finds amusement in Lexi's role as she sees it -- friend/instigator -- and they very rarely fight, argue, or show any sort of negative emotion towards each other.

There is a short comic, being drawn somewhere, of Lexi and De' playing video games. I think the artist who requested I write a script died somewhere along the way, though, but its still there. If I remember rightly, De' was losing epically to Lexi, so she decided to distract her by asking what sort of superhero she'd be. It was fun. There were a lot of Someone's going to die after this moments.

Lexi really is a multi purpose character.

A few years ago now, I hadn't even considered picking up a Discworld novel, despite the fact that Pratchett remains my favourite author now. All the hype and happyhappy vibes about him on Gaia turned me right off, and the quote Let's just say if complete and utter chaos was lightening, he'd be the kind of guy standing on top of a hill in the middle of a thunderstorm, wearing wet copper armor, and screaming 'All gods are bastards !' always cracked me up. Every time. Without fail.

I decided there was no way an entire book could be that funny, and I would just be dissapointed if I pursued it.

So anyway, one day, Wrai hops on all excited going on about a book he's got. When I ask what it is, he responds The Art Of Discworld.

The rest of the story is pretty obvious.

Another time, long after I was head over heels in love with the series, we discussed it again. Wrai asked what I would do if I ended up in Discworld, and I responded with something about an elaborate plan to disguise myself as a woman of negotiable affection, sneak my way into the Unseen University, and force the wizards to do the spell to conjour up Death. Wrai threw a spanner into the works by asking if the spell would be done forwards -- to call Death to me -- or backwards -- to send me to Death.

I thought about that for about three seconds, before loudly declaring backwards, of course, and I'd become Death's maid. He laughed.

Upon asking him the same question, he responded that he'd join the Watch. I nodded approvingly of this choice -- whereas I'm self centered and would stalk the anthromoporphic personification of death, Wrai is definately the kind of guy that would become a cop -- and stated I would bring him cookies on my off days.
