This is going to be the Core Topic for the Role Play. In here you'll ask questions, build your character and have links to everything.

First you have to pick what time line you want to play in.
The Old Republic, Pre-Clone Wars, Clone Wars, Order 66, Vader-Jedi Hunter, Rise of the Empire, Rise of the Rebellion, Fall of the Empire, and lastly; Freedom.

The Old Republic - This is the time when Sith and Jedi battled many wars, it is before the movies.

Pre-Clone Wars - The Sith are still in hiding, but only just barely. Droids and the Trade Federation have become a problem. This takes place around Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Clone Wars - The Sith have come out of hiding and the Trade Federation has made so much problems that Clone Troopers have been made to battle the Droids. This takes place around Star Wars Episode II: The Clone Wars.

Order 66 - The Clone Troopers have turned on the Jedi and now almost all the Jedi have been killed. All Jedi that are alive slowly go into hiding and anyone that was with the Jedi either break their ties or die with the Jedi. This takes place around Star Wars Episode III : The Revenge of the Sith.

Vader-Jedi Hunter - Darth Vader hunts down the remaining Jedi. This takes place between Star Wars Episode III and Episode IV.

Rise of the Empire - Your either with the Empire or your death, no two ways around it. This Takes place right before Episode IV.

Rise of the Rebellion - You can choice to be with the Empire or fight them with everything you have. With the help of a Jedi how can you lose. This takes place around Episode V and VI.

Fall of the Empire - Now that the Empire has been destroyed it is time you helped Luke Skywalker made a new Temple for the Jedi. This takes place right after Episode VI.

Freedom - There is no time line. You can be any race on any planet. You can be Sith or Jedi, it doesn't matter. This is unaffected by time.

[Note: You can not play a main character at any time. You can not say 'Luke Skywalker handed me a lightsaber.' If you want to meet Luke Skywalker I'll play him. Also to note we are not going by 100% story line here. Like I don't care if at this point in time Anakin had lost his hand or not. As long as people are having fun. However some of the races will be limited. Ewoks can only be used a small amount in Rise of the Rebellion, however they can be used more in Fall of the Empire and as much as you want in Freedom. Wookies have limits too. For a bit there the Empire has them as Slaves.]

[Kassai and Massassi are Knights of the Old Republic races mostly. In other eras they are rare so I may not let you play them outside that era if at all.]

[Also to note, I am going to be linking each era, if the era is not linked i have not made that era yet.]

After Picking a Race and Era move on... yes I am making this more then one post.

Now that you have a race and Era you should now role four six sized dice [for now on called 4d6] using the 'Post Action' 'Roll Dice' ability.
You will do this six times, six posts. This is where it gets a little weird. You'll then go back to each post and if you rolled any ones you'll re-roll a dice for each but nothing else. Also you most only roll one set at a time. For example:
I roll six sets of 4d6 and get:
5, 4, 1, 3
6, 2, 2, 1
6, 1, 4, 1
5, 3, 5, 1
3, 3, 2, 1
4, 4, 4, 3

I would then make a new post and roll 1d6, thats one six-sided dice. Lets say I get a 1 I would then put that with my 5, 4, 3 in my first set. Giving me 5, 4, 1, 3 which I started with. I'd then move on again removing the one and re-rolling it. This time I get a 6 giving me 6, 2, 2, 6. I would do this for every set until no more ones were around. You have to do them in order like I am doing. If you get confused I can help. If a set has two ones you can remove them both at the same time but only if they are in the same set.

Once I am done re-rolling everything so that there is no ones I am left with.

5, 4, 5, 3
6, 2, 2, 6
6, 4, 4, 2
5, 3, 5, 6
3, 3, 2, 6
4, 4, 4, 3

Once you have it like this you then remove the lowest number from each set and add up the rest. In the first set, 5, 4, 5, 3 I would remove the 3 and add the rest getting 14.

When I am done I'll have.

Some Role playing tips.
I am going to base this off the role playing system however I am not going to make anyone roll dice after their character has been made. You can make your own path up as long as you do not kill off any main character nor effect any main character. Also do not try and kill any of the players character unless they have agreed to it. Maybe in time I'll use dice but my track record shows that gaia's dice system rolls low a lot, and that sucks.
Also on this note I want role playing here people. None of this 'John walks three steps and cuts the trooper. The trooper takes the hit and fires at John but misses. John attacks the Trooper and hits him, killing him.' I want more. I want to feel the battle. I want something like 'John quickly runs up to the Trooper and cuts him with his Vibrosword. The Trooper didn't even move, like if he just took John's attack and now he was going to deal the damage back at John, but thanks to John's quick feet the Trooper just missed. Knowing that was close John attacked back quickly. John hit the Trooper knocking him down and out.'
Also do not god mode. Your character could maybe beat a Trooper in two hits without being hit himself but killing off seventeen troopers without a cut is a little over doing it. You have to explain how your doing so good. Keep that in mind.

Another thing is you can not get stuff at Random. You can't be like 'John won a Speeder bike in a game of chance a month before.'
If you want to do that you have to really play the game of chance.

Any other rules I have will be posted when I see fit to add them.

You Can also have as many characters as you want however you have to make them all one at a time and I have to okay them before you can play them.

You can open your own Store as long as you be careful if you cross anyone you may have guards or Officers coming to put a stop to your business.
You can not sell what you do not have.
Also if you do open a store your prices are whatever you want them to be but can you please make the store it's own thread.

Just because after thinking about it all, I have figured out adding new rules or how to role play tips in here would be lost if people are posting their characters in here, I am going to make two new threads one titled 'The Rules' and the other titled 'How to Play' those will be for everything I need leaving this place for you guys.

After looking over Bryant's Rolls He got:

So I am going to be making a Twi'Lek

Twi'Lek's get +2 Charisma, -2 Wisdom, they are Medium Sized, They move 6 Squares [Not important right now], They a Deceptive meaning that they can re-roll Deception checks [Only important if in With Gm mode], they have great fortitude that gives them a +2 on their fort defense, they get low-light vision, and they can speak Basic and Ryl.

Now I have to put class. I get to pick from Jedi, Noble, Scoundrel, Scout, and Soldier. Because I believe I am going to be playing in Rise of the Rebellion Era I am going to not pick a Jedi.
I normally play a Soldier so I probably wont play that, that way I change things up a bit.
I am going to play a Scoundrel because of their skill for gambling.

Scoundrels need Dexterity and Intelligence, then Charisma and Wisdom. So I'll put my Stats in those areas.

[Str - Strength, Dex - Dexterity, Con - Constitution, Int - Intelligence, Wis - Wisdom, Cha - Charisma]

I have thought about it and I am going to put my stat points like this.

Str: 13

Wis: 15
Cha: 16

Because of my +2 and my -2 I am now at

Str: 13
Dex: 15
Con: 14
Int: 14
Wis: 13
Cha: 18

Next I am going to work out my Ref Defense, Fort Defense and Will Defense.

My Ref Defense is My Character Level or Armor + Class Bonus + Dex Ability Mod + Misc + 10.
Because I can not wear armor, because I am not proficient with it, I get my level. I am a Level 1. So I get 1.
My Class gives me +2 Ref Defense. So I get another +2.
My Dex is a 15, the Ability mod for that is 2. So a get another +2.
I don't have any Misc so I get +0 there.
So my ref defense is 1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 10 = 15. Hopefully that will be enough.

My Fort Defense is My Character Level or Armor + Class Bonus + Con Ability Mod + Misc + 10.
Again I am not wearing Armor so I get a +1 here.
My Class gives me +0 here.
My Con is a 14. The Ability Mod for that is a +2 so I have +2 here.
Because my race gets a +2 on fort I would add that under Misc.
That would give me 1 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 15.

My Will Defense is my Character Level or Armor + Class Bonus + Wis Ability Mod + Misc + 10.
Again no armor so +1.
My class gives me a +1 Will Defense.
My Wis is a 13 giving me only a +1 here.
I don't get anything for Misc.
So I get 1 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 10 = 13

My Health, or Hit Points, whatever you'd like to call it.
I get a base of 18 + my Con ability mod, which if you remember was +2, giving me a total of 20 hit points. Meaning I can take 20 damage before I pass out.

My Damage Threshold is my Fort Defense, 15, + any Misc Bonus, a feat that gives me more Threshold would be added here, but I have none so I have 15 here. Threshold is how much damage I can take in one hit before I am hurt. Like if I was hit by a blaster that did 15 Damage I would be okay but if I was hit by 16 damage I would get a -1 on my Defenses and attacks.
Plus if I take -15 Damage, meaning my 20 hit points + 15 more damage I am alive but one more point of damage and I would die. I can spend a force point to save my life but if I do not have anymore force points, I'm dead.

Speaking about force points. I get 5 + half my level rounded down. So 5 in total.
Because I do not have a Destiny yet, I do not get any Destiny points.
My Base attack, given to me for being a Scoundrel is +0 at this level.

Now I get a few Feats, given to me by my class. They are Point Blank Shot, Weapon Proficiency (pistols), Weapon Proficiency (Simple Weapons).
This means now I can use any Simple Weapon and Blaster Pistols. Also, because of Point Blank Shot, whenever an Enemy is close to me I get a +1 on Attack Rolls and a +1 on Damage Rolls vs. Him.

Also I get one Scoundrel Talent. I am going to take the Talent called Gambler. I get a +2 bonus when Gambling.

I also get a bonus Feat for being Level One. I am taking Precise Shot. I need to have Point Blank Shot to get this feat, and I do. It removes a -5 Penalty I would have gotten without it when shotting into Melee.

Now to deal with my Skills. My Class skills are Acrobatics, Deception, Gather Information, Initiative, Knowledge [I get them all but I have to take them Individually], Mechanics, Perception, Persuasion, Pilot, Stealth, Use Computers.
I get 4 + Int of them Trained. My Int is 14 giving me a +2 so I can have +6 Trained.
I am going to pick, Deception, Initiative, Perception, Persuasion, Pilot and Stealth. This means I get a +5 in each of them.

My Deception is a 9. +5 for being trained then a +4 because it is based off my Cha Ability mod which is a 18 giving me the +4.
My Initiative is a 7. +5 for being trained then a +2 because it is based off my Dex ability mod.
My Perception is a 6. +5 for being trained then a +1 because it is based off my wis ability mod.
My Persuasion is a 9. +5 for being trained then a +4 because it is based off my Cha Ability mod.
My Pilot is a 7. +5 for being trained then a +2 because it is based off my Dex ability mod.
My Stealth is a 7. +5 for being trained then a +2 because it is based off my Dex ability mod.

I got a really bad score : 6 and now I times it by 250 giving me 1500 Credits to start with.

Lastly because my Int ability mod is a 2 I get two new Languages. I am giving myself Huttese and Shyriiwook.

Next I am going to make my Twi'Lek a Male.
Twi'leks become Adults at the age of 16. Because I am a level one I think being around that age would be good. I am going to roll a d4 and add that to the 16 getting a 1 making his age 17.
Male Twi'leks are anywhere from 1.6 meters to 2.4 Meters. I am going to go with 1.92m or 6'3"

Their Average weight is 55kg. Because I don't know much about Kg and the fact that my character only has a 13 Str I'll leave his weight at 55Kg.
That should put me at 121 lbs.

Lastly I have to name my character then I get to buy stuff for him and then he is ready to role play with.

I am going to be making a new character. He is going to be a level ten character, something I am not letting anyone else do. I wont be doing this again. It's just I wanted to make a NPC but at the same time a character. So this is what I thought about doing.
I am also not going to go into as much detail as I did for my first character but I'll still go into a bit of detail like any of you would.

Race: Hutt
Era: Unaffected only Character I am letting have this]

As a Hutt I would get: +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, +2 Intelligence, -6 Dexterity. Size: Large; which gives me: -1 Reflex Defence, -5 Stealth, +5 Damage Threshold. Speed: 2 Squares. Force Resistance: +5 Will Defence vs All Force effects. Supreme Stability: Hutts can't be tripped or knocked prone. Hutts can re-roll Persuasion checks, keeping the better of the two. Language: Basic and Hutts.

Rolling my Stats: Set One, Set Two, Set Three, Set Four, Set Five, Set Six

I am now going to re-roll the one in set five... Here, and Here

Because it isn't far that I just jump him from zero to ten in levels I am going to leave him at Level 1 and then i am going to role play as him until I get him to level ten.

Okay. If you change your mind on the freelance, you can. I have not made the freelance yet, or freedom, but I can do so within the next day or so.

As for your Arkanian, you will get +2 Intelligence, -2 Charisma. You are a medium sized creature, which grants you nothing, but also doesn't have any ill effects. Have has a speed of 6 squares. You have dark vision, which means your character can see in the dark. However with the dark vision, they cannot perceive colours in total darkness. You get Intellectual Reputation, which allows you to replace your Charisma modifier for your Intelligence modifier on persuasion checks. You also get Flash of Genius, which gives you once per encounter, a +5 to one Knowledge, Mechanics, or Use Computer skill check. You also get Arkanian and Basic as your starting languages.

Now which class would you like to have?
You can pick Jedi, Noble, Scoundrel, Scout, or Soldier.
If you need to know more about any of these, please ask.
