The Guardians

Cause of Death: Plague
Relationship with Barasuishou
When Barasuishou arrived at the hartlands, with no name and no family, Alex felt drawn to the beautifully cold hind. She gave her the name "Barasuishou", Rose Crystal, in reference to the masses of amethyst that grew from her back, and to a show she recalled seeing when she was living, with whom she shared many similarities.
Alex and Barasuishou get along quite well, with Alex having helped the hind to abandon her past, and look forward to her future, which is filled with beauty and wonderful family.
Relationship with Averyl
Alex bonded with the fawn, with hope that she would get another friend like Barasuishou.
Nope.
Instead she got this insanely angry little girl who threatened to stab everything and everyone, including the specter that talked to her. How she planned on that she's not sure...
But now that Averyl has settled down with a mate, with kids on the way... Alex feels herself being drawn to this hind once again.

Relationship with Kiraki
He's the gay guy inside her. Chris was an aspiring fashion designer in life, and immediately bonded to this spicy fashion diva~! He speaks with a very stereotypical "gay" lisp, and likes to call things fabulous, which is where Ki picked it up from. Chris enjoys talking about all the wonderful fashion labels in his day, Versace, Armani, etc, which is where Ki got the name of her children from. Kiraki adores Chris like a best friend, and finds his company absolutely fabulous~ He likes to help give her ideas on clothes, and compliments her a lot.
Relationship with Versace Lune Chris was soooo excited when he heard Ki was having kids. The two talked endlessly about names, with Chris suggesting he name them after famous labels. He immediately bonded to the sparkling Versace, loving her wonderfully kind spirit.
He compliments her endlessly, and this has given her a terrible ego the size of Canis Majoris, the two are great friends.

Relationship with Ellie
Violet's not touching this one with a long stick. Seriously, Violet has absolutely no intention of helping Ellie, despite the fact she could, and that'd probably be really nice of her. Violet bonded with Ellie when she was a thicket, being drawn to the sweet pink fawn and her kind aura. When Ellie's parents were killed and she broke, Violet abandoned ship and stopped watching Ellie.
While when Ellie was a fawn Violet guided her a lot, giving her praise and telling her stories about her gardens and various plants she grew back when she was alive.
For some reason, Violet wanted nothing more to do with her once she lost her memory. Occasionally she does go and check on her, just to make sure she didn't kill herself accidentally, but otherwise, Violet plays no part in Ellie's life.

Relationship with Kinako
Monica was drawn to her because she's also shy and stuttery, and had a very similar past, with an abusive father and subservient mother. However, Monica never got to escape, being ten years old and still in the middle of abuse when the Plague hit. Monica and Kinako share lots of secrets with each other, and are generally very good friends.
Monica is very happy that Kinako is finally recovering from her years of abuse and is settling down with a nice, also stuttery guy.
Relationship with Mirielle
Monica bonded with her because she reminded her of a friend she had, who was also curly brown haired and french. Though she still has trouble understanding her heavy accent. Monica was a big fan of the ocean as a young girl too, and supports her decision to become a pirate, so long as she doesn't hurt anyone. They get along well, but don't talk very often.

Relationship with Natasha
Lin was a bitter woman when she died, and as such, wanted something to spread her misery onto.
She took the legless mutant fawn, with hope that she could make it as miserable as she was when she lived, teaching this poor fawn the way life truly is - you have nothing, and someone kicks you down another notch.
And while Lin can feel the hatred and despair that boils underneath the young Herla she can't seem to get her to break out of her perpetually happy appearance, which annoys Lin. She wants to see Natasha get angry, and cry sometimes, wants to see her feels like what she is - a mutant, a freak.
Though, she can feel that "other" side touch the surface more and more...
Relationship with Lorina
Lin feels like she struck gold with this one! A girl already plagued with torment, Lin keeps on egging her on. "It's your fault, you deserved it" etc, and overall is a bluh bluh huge b***h.
Lorina hates this voice almost as much as she hates the sound of the water.

For a while she and her siblings lived in relative peace, with very few fights breaking out between them.
But that was then. Soon, Father had made a decree. Only one daughter was to be his. The winner of his "Alice Game" would have the privelege of staying in the herd, being his child and heir. The rest... they would be killed. Barasuishou, very much a daddy's girl, vowed to win. Many did not want to fight, and begged Father for another way to be accepted. But he refused any other answer.
Barasuishou was quick to set up her alliances. The Eldest, a brooding girl with flawed back due to her giant wings was bitter and desperately wanted Father's love. She was easy to manipulate to her side, and very powerful.
The Sixth died first. Not in a true battle, but a merely a minor skirmish with the Fifth, one of the stronger sisters. She was weak, and had her soul taken quickly.
Next came Barasuishou urging The Eldest, and the Younger Twin. The Younger Twin was eager for a fight to make Father happy, and The Eldest was ready for revenge. She pitted the two against each other, and the Younger Twin was killed.
Then came the Garden Battles, which took place outside Father's lair, where he watched from afar the battle. The Elder Twin, filled with rage fought against Barasuishou with her ally, The Second, while The Eldest fought The Fifth. Barasuishou encased her sister The Elder Twin inside a coffin of crystal while she attempted to protect The Second from her attacks, but The Second was weak and no match for Barasuishou. She dispatched her with a quick attack.
The Fifth, The Eldest and Barasuishou were the only ones left, and The Fifth was angered at the loss of the sisters. They migrated indoors, where The Eldest and The Fifth fought. Barasuishou followed, watching, until she attacked them, and the Eldest covered The Fifth, screeching she was the only one who could kill The Fifth.
Enraged, The Fifth turned on Barasuishou as she laughed. It was all Barasuishou's fault! She yelled at the littlest sister. The Fifth jumped on Barasuishou, pinning her down. It's all your fault, you horrible sister. These other sisters did not want to play and you killed them. Barasuishou merely mocked The Fifth until she was distracted and crying, were she then stabbed her in the stomach, impaling her on her crystals.
Barasuishou had won the games, and was the One. "Alice."
... However, it eventually got to her a few years later, when Father died. There was nothing left here for her. Her sisters were dead, Father was dead. She was Alice, but who was Alice when there was no Father. She abandoned her home... and found love. Likes+Family, it means a lot to her.+Due to her upbringing, she values strength, and is glad to see that her children are strong individuals, with strong mates, and mostly strong children. Dislikes-Emotional Herla annoy her generally, since she has no idea how to handle someone who cries all the time.Hopes+She would love to have a huge family that doesn't kill each other.Fears-Despite that, she's afraid that for some reason the "Alice Game" she played as a yearling will come back to haunt her family, and they'll be all forced to fight to the death. -She gets attacked by feelings of regret and remorse when she takes off her eyepatch, so she generally keeps it on to ward it away.-And lastly, she's afraid of losing it all. Kinako nodded softly, and that night, she ran away from her father, taking only Suki and her memories. She made a home in the forest, far from the deep area she lived in as a fawn. As her temperament says, she's easily confused, tends wander mentally, is slightly delusional and overall... Stupid. She's literally mentally challenged as a result of head-trauma she recieved as a fawn. This trauma caused her to have memory loss of most of her past. Though, this doesn't stop her from being... Happy. She's a very happy hind, with many friends and people who adore her. Obsessive. Ellie's obsessed with strawberries. She grows them, and they're the only thing she's intelligent about, and can talk endlessly about them.Easily manipulated. Someone could take advantage of her very easily, because she really wouldn't know any better, or how to escape a bad situation. What Ellie isn't:Independent. Ellie is completely dependent on other Herla, and would hate to be alone. She's downright clingy at times. Cruel. She's stupid, but she's still sensitive to other's feelings. She tries to make them smile, because it makes her smile to do so. Hateful. She seems to be completely incapable of hating Herla, even ones that have hurt her or that were mean. She gets sad, but never is Ellie angry. Mature. In fact, she's downright childish. BioShe was small and meek, but she was loved. And to the little pink fawn with the little bat wings named Gabriella, that was all she wanted.
It was late summer, and Gabriella and her parents were outside the little glen where they normally lived, traveling around, showing their daughter the sights. Excitedly, Gabriella ran in crooked, awkward circles around her parents as they laughed.
"Mommy, look at this flower! Daddy, daddy, look at this red berry!" she called to them, grinning. It was all so new, so special. She was so happy.
Suddenly, her mother's ears pricked. "Crap, they're coming." Gabriella's parents started urging her to run with them, but they were too late.
Strange Herla with stranger weapons leered at them from over the hill. "Well, if it isn't the demons." they said, referring to the clan's bat wings. The leader of the group grinned. "Let's take care of the demons, shall we?" he said, looking at the others, and then back to Gabriella and her parents.
They closed in, trapping the little fawn in between her parents, as they thrashed and and tried to fight back from the teeth, horns and strange weapons. Claws scraped down on Gabriella's chest, down to her belly and on her legs, leaving huge gaping holes, ripping her open. She screamed and screamed while her parents were torn apart as well, blood from her chest wound pouring onto the ground. She cried and screeched, a horrific noise to be coming from such a young child. Then silence, as a heavy weight came crashing down on her head, knocking her out.
"They're all dead now." the leader said, proud of his work. "Let's head back now, guys." he said to his group, and they left the three bodies on the ground.
When the small fawn regained consciousness a few days later, she was horrified. Who were these Herla? What had happened?
The fawn staggered to her feet, trying to get to... who knows. She wandered past a small plant with white flowers and red berries, and stopped to eat them ravenously. She was so hungry, and so lost...
She wandered for days, blood stains on her chest and on her head, where she had suffered head trauma. At last she had come across another Herla, a regal looking hind. "Who are you?" the hind asked the fawn.
"I'm... I'm..." she paused, unsure. Abriell... Riell... Iell... "Ell -- Ellie..." she said. For some reason, the name sounded right. Ellie, of course, she was Ellie and had always been Ellie. Nothing else.
"Ellie huh?" the hind said, looking her over. "Dear lord, child, you must have been through a lot. Let me cover up those horrific scars." she said, and came back with a bright pink cloth. She helped Ellie put it on, and tied it so that it was a nice little sweater. "There, darling. That'll help. Now, what happened...?"
Ellie paused. She didn't know. But she survived. She had done it, despite all the odds. A mere child had survived the horrifying wrath of the crowd... and she would never remember it.
[TL;DR, she once was a normal little fawn who lived in a clan of bat-winged Herla, who had a lot of enemies, despite normally be rather peaceful herla.
