“Very well then from now on I will call you ‘Little Dragon’
Thenin immediately thought of something the preacher had said “O great and beautiful are the angels of god for they are the select chosen” Thenin didn’t know what the last part meant but he did know that Lanya must be somebody’s angel. Her skin was a silky and as beautiful as it was on her hand. Her eyes were a beautiful light brown, and her face was set just right so that everything looked like it could be nowhere else. She had perfectly formed ears and long dark brown hair that flowed down her neck. He couldn’t help but to smile back.
“Here let me see that cut on your arm” Thenin reached out his arm and she grasped it. She slid her nail around the cut noting the peculiar shape. “Here this will only take a moment,” she said as she put her hand over top of it. Thenin felt his hand tingle and thought he saw a flash, but wasn’t really sure. But when she removed her hand the cut was gone leaving a “vampire teeth” shaped scar.
It took about five seconds for Thenin to register this before he blurted out “Wha… How? This… * Sigh *… My head hurts.” Thenin shook his head and waited for it to clear. When he looked back up again Lanya was sitting in front of him a small green ball floating above her hand. The green ball had small green streaks shoot out of it every couple of seconds, which under close examination resembled lightning only slower.
“All I did was use a little magic. Haven’t you ever seen somebody use magic?” Lanya asked. Through the light emanated from the small ball Thenin could see Lanya ore fully he could even pick out her various curves in the dark. She looked much younger than his mother.
Thenin slowly shook his head back and forth. He had seen what he thought was magic but it hadn’t been like this. “I could teach you some.” The words seemed nonexistent and took a few seconds to seep into Thenin’s mind. Him, learn magic? It all seemed like a dream.
“I think I’d like that.” Was all he managed to say. When he looked back up Lanya was smiling, he smiled back.
