Ok. This governor's school of excellence thing is crazy!!!!!!!! I mean, I can't control my voice yet and I'm 2 years behind in piano!!!!! I'm still doing waltzes by Chopin! I guess I'll have to do the "minute waltz", as my teacher calls it, for the tape. Gosh, this will be impossible. I can't even be the best in my school, and to be one of the best in the state!?! And then voice. I'm supposed to do this song Danza, Danza something. It's short, but I'm afraid it will be too short, too easy, and I can't get in control of my voice! And I can't even get into Honors Choir, let alone get into this! And in case you're wondering, this isn't just a competition. My main reason for studying music, no matter how gay this sounds, is to play and sing for God, sort of like Bach dedicated his music to God (if God doesn't go deaf from my horrible music skills sweatdrop ). It's not "I have to be the best!!!!" It's more "I have to be the best I can be, and not slack off." But there's that song "...Fifteen, there's still time for you. Time to buy and time to lose. Fifteen, there's never a wish better than this. For you only got one hundred years to live." Or something like that. 3nodding
