I enjoy music. It is my passion. Having to live without looking at notes, singing, or playing piano would be unimaginable. But look at the facts. I am struggling to play a waltz by Chopin (although it's over 232 on the metronome), crack uncontrollably when I'm singing, and suck at sight reading. I lack knowledge that I need as well. I know very little on music history, and don't even know some simple music terms!!!!!!! Even the CMU program I want to apply to says, "Becoming a professional musician requires extraordinary talent and versatility." I can't even make it into ANY choir!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Katie Sickels girl I mentioned in the previous entry, made it and I didn't!!!! I thought I was at least good enough for that! Now finding another passion. Well, the only things I can do is absorb information by listening, have a good reading comprehension, and have a slight thing for math. For some reason, these things come easier to me. But I can't write. It takes me hours to think of something to write for a simple paper. So how am I supposed to apply for college?!?
