Pyro was easily engrossed with her computer monitor. So much so that she missed hearing the sounds of plastic rustling and popping. It wasn't until she heard a confused voice coming from the area of the kitchen that she jumped up, hitting her head, cursing like a sailor, that she had remembered about her bowl. She ran full speed, or at least as full speed as one could through a house, over pets, dodging furniture, and sliding on tile and carpet. Finally, a bruised and tired creature emerged into the kitchen, huffing and puffing, pulling random animals off from around her legs. It wasn't her fault that they thought she wanted to play tag. She didn't explain a thing, she just frantically ran.
The ice cream child watched the door, as something loud and clumsy made their way to her area. At first, being frightened, she tried to hide. Then, she realized that she was in a nice warm place, in a nice cozzy room, and that whatever it was that was making their way to her couldn't be there to harm her. the room was too nice and... not messy. Suddenly, a feather floated by, distracting her completely. Reaching towards it, Bubblegum laughed, hoping to touch it. The feather wooshed away, leaving her gazing in awe.
And that was how Pyro found her. A little pink... thing... watching something in the air, her mouth hanging open and her eyes wide, and her finger in her mouth. Plopping down on a seat, Pyro just stared. And stared. Finally the figure noticed her, and waved cheerfully. Laughing, Pyro got up, and went to take the scoop off the refridgerator. She noticed the plastic, and then the realization hit her, causing her to almost drop the bowl. The Plastic Cover! how the heck did she expect the being to be able to emerge with a shield over her?! Then she calmed down, realizing that Bubblegum must be stronger than she appeared, for she had managed to get it all the way off, apparently without too much effort. Pyro smiled.
Bubblegum, however, was a bit suprised at almost being dropped. What was this thing doing?! As she was placed on the table, she began to wonder about her surroundings. Pyro introduced herself to the pink thing,
"Sorry about that... didn't mean to scare you. I'm really sorry about hte plastic cover--I didn't realize that it might have been difficult for you to emerge!"
Bubblegum began to smile. She wasn't so bad after all. "I'm Bubblegum! Is this where you live? It's really pretty! And cheerful!"
Pyro looked around her. Well... she wasn't really trying for cheerful when she put together the kitchen. She was just making sure she could live with how it looked. But if Bubblegum liked it, then Pyro figured she did a decent job. "Thank you," she replied. "Would you like to go visit the shop where you came from?"
Pyro grinned, watching Bubble's eyes grow with excitement. This would be fun.
