We are a people of destruction.
So I spent a lot of time thinking today, mainly because I had nothing else to do but homework, and despite how I'm actually doing my homework lately, I didn't feel like it at that moment. So I was thinking about how horrible this world is, and then I thought "When has it ever been not horrible?" And then I realized, it hasn't, there has always been war, we have always been a people of destruction, a people of chaos, and death, and greed. But despite our evils, despite our need to destroy everything in our path, no one has done the ultimate destruction, the ultimate act of mercy, no one has killed all of makind. If you ask me, the world will never find peace, never heal, until we are gone, and even then it will never be the same. What we've to it will remain forever, if we die our cities will remain as scar tissue, a constant reminder of the horrible people that hungered for more and more, and in the process destroyed themselves. For all we say we care about nature, for all the people who are pro-life, no one seems to get it. It works the same way assassinating an warlord, kill one, save a thousand, or a hundred thousand, or a million. Only, in this case, it's kill everyone, save the world. We are human, homosapiens, whatever you want to call it, and we ARE creatures of death, of destruction, of chaos in its worst form. I was bored and listening to this song from the 40's, and it went "I don't want to set the world on fire...." (Some people may recognize it from Fallout 3 o_O) And despite what I've said, it's true, sort of, I DO NOT want to set the world on fire, the world itself has done nothing wrong. I DO want to set humanity on fire, I want every last person, every last one of us to die, yes, I would die too, I realize this, but that is a sacrifice I would make, the world deserves better, nature deserves better. We are a plague and every last one of us deserves to die. We are not sinners, WE ARE SIN, we do not fall to the darkness, WE ARE THE DARKNESS, we are capable of great things, love, incredible ingenuity, but the evil will always outweigh the good, we can never undo what we are, we can only undo ourselves, but yet we cling to our pathetic, destructive, existence like the parasites we are, selfishly destroying the world faster and faster to feed our own undying hunger, our own needs. We are a corrupt race, we are a people of destruction, and we all deserve to die.
