Quote: SOMERSET MANORby StrawberryZ0mbieStatus: Active RP - Info - OoC Genre: Horror, Fantasy, Comedy, Supernatural, Tragedy, Romance The year is around 2060. Around ten years ago, the world began to see an inexplicable rise in psychic phenomenon among the population. No one yet knows the reason behind this increase in observable psychic experiences, however many government groups have put effort into studying how it works, and why it appears. Currently, what is known, is that a certain type of people have a predisposition to developing psychokinetic abilities under extreme stress and fear, particularly when they believe they are in danger or threat of harm. To further investigate this strange phenomenon, the British Science Directorate assigned the Suffolk Research Group to perform a dual study with a controlled group of carefully selected individuals, in an isolated, artificial environment. To this end, the research group held a lottery for a position in a luxury retreat to be held at an exclusive private island. Potential subjects were interviewed and screened before being carefully selected to participate in the study. The Directorate secured a very large, isolated private island in the Pacific ocean. Five years were spent renovating it, and preparing it for this study, installing state of the art equipment, and making it appear to be a serene paradise--the perfect place for anyone who may want to escape their real life for a while. The test subjects who are part of the study believe they are being allowed to stay at this exclusive retreat for up to two years, courtesy of its eccentric (fabulously wealthy, yet reclusive) European owner. None of them are aware that they are secretly part of a scientific study.

Genre: Steampunk, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Political, Adventure, Comedy Lurrade has always been a world with a turbulent history. If not for the miraculous Illas that hover in in the planet's skies, it's unlikely civilization, or even life, would have been able to develop on this harsh world. And now, thousands of years after the beginnings of civilization awoke in Luradde's skies, the world is in a state of political and civil unrest. Between the race to colonize untamed Illas, pirates, overbearing military, and a corrupt aristocracy, life for the common man is interesting, to say the least. As the three major powers vie for control of the most land and resources, the world stands on the brink of all out war. Tensions are high--betrayal and backstabbing are rampant among the upper classes. Though old treaties are still in place, there are worries that it won’t be long before war breaks out. Amidst the skirmishes, political intrigue, and pirate attacks, everyone is simply trying to live their lives and make the most of what they have in what always has been and, seemingly, always will be, a violent and troubled world.

Quote: LILLENDby KuroyanagikaStatus: Active RP - Info - OoC Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Gaming In the world of Lillend, players work together to help colonize the planet and make it habitable for normal citizens. To do that, they have to rid the world of all the violent beasts found there. Of course, they don't expect just ordinary people to help out. Only those that volunteer will be expected to help. The volunteers are given free training to start out with, but once they've cleared that, they're on their own. There are people here to help these volunteers: shopkeepers, innkeepers, sword smiths, soldiers, and many more, found in all of the main cities, and even some of the smaller cities. Once plunged into the game, smells, sights, sounds, all bombard the senses, as if they were completely real. The first thing heard by anyone that had just logged in, is this,"Hi, and welcome to Lillend! Good luck out there!", in this utterly cutesy voice.

Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Post-Apocalyptic, Steampunk, Science Fiction, Political A multitude on RPs, all linked to each other. Several races with their own language, world (dimensions), lifestyle and wishes are thrown into ever-evolving storylines where the roleplayers decide what the future will bring to each Dimension. To do so, political plots, war, adventure and even love and hatred will be used to manipulate the future and the relations between the races. What's your part in this all?

Quote: HOUSE OF THE RISING SUNby StrawberryZ0mbieStatus: Active RP - OoC - Info Genre: Horror, Tragedy, Drama, Steampunk, Comedy, Romance, Action, pseudo-historical In our universe, there are multiple planes that coexist side by side, almost as if each one was partially superimposed onto the next. And the creatures that dwell on each plane are blissfully unaware of the existent of those on the other planes. Even though they occupy nearly the same points in space and time, they cannot see, hear, smell or experience, with any of the senses, anything but that which exists in their plane of existence. Humanity grew and thrived and developed, all without realizing they were not alone. However, since the very beginning, the fabric between these planes has been very thin. The slightest tremor, or ripple in reality, can shift a person slightly out of alignment of their own plane, and when that happens, when someone is caught in the ripple, they catch glimpses of what lies in the shadows behind that thin veil and become aware of the creatures that live there. But there is no action that does not have an equal reaction; when someone our plane glimpses the creatures that live on one of the others, it makes them aware of us as well. And with that awareness comes power. And when they become conscious of us, these creatures gain the ability to crossover, to pass through that thin barrier, and enter our plane. They instinctively seek out those who have seen through the veil--because these are ones who stand out most clearly to them--and consume them. Possessing their bodies, masquerading Humans, they continue to hunt and consume others, sometimes switching hosts when it becomes necessary—or sometimes merely for convenience. And all the while, they wear a Human skin, absorbing their host’s memories, thoughts, even feelings and desires But every event that occurs in the universe makes its own ripples, makes changes and impacts the world around it. Whether by fate, or divine influence, there are those with the ability to seek out these intruders and destroy them. But what happens when the creatures fight back? And what happens we learn there is more to the story than what we thought we knew?

Quote: ARCANE MADNESSby KuroyanagikaStatus: Active RP - Info - OoC Genre: Fantasy It's been about a month since the links between worlds became warped and twisted, since the radical changes of balance started happening, since humans have been forcefully pulled over into Drakon. In the midst of the angels running around trying to fix the balance, of demons trying to cope and humans trying to survive, there lies the few that are actively trying to reverse this. Humans want to go home, demons want their everyday lives back, and devils are getting little to no business in the midst of all this chaos. Not to mention the angels wanting a permanent fix, rather than the temporary one being put in place.
