There are masks given out for the event. Each mask is a "box" essentially for a different pet (depending on rp intensity). Each pet is randomized into their category of mask. After that, the tagged mask will be distributed by Vash's choosing ( game suggestions from guests or such) and then its basically the luck of the person who can guess it right or post in time what not. The mask will be unveiled and the pet revealed at the end of the month.

The only two masks that I'm going to explain are the two that pertain to RP requirements.
This mask implies that the pet in question is RP REQUIRED. <3. so DO NOT claim this particular type of mask unless you WANT an RP required pet <3.
This mask implies that the pet requires LIGHT RP, or thread presence from time to time. Again, ONLY ATTEMPT THESE PETS IF YOU'RE WILLING TO AGREE TO THESE TERMS. <3.
The other 5 masks...only I REALLY know what they mean, along with my helpers. >3.
First of all, Welcome! For those of you who haven't met me before, I'm a rather frequent lurker/poster here in the Breedables forum, although I also operate the Tsukuribanashi-Yuniko, along with Rayne Winner, a very dear friend of mine (and lots of help, since I'm notoriously slow at the art side of things!). But, that's neither here nor there. For a...very long time, I've wanted to hold a breedables-wide event, and since I adore halloween...well, I've spent a month discussing my idea with friends, and, to date, all of them have said it sounds like fun...so there you go.
Essentially, what I'm shooting for is to leave signups open for all of September, and then, on the first of October, begin the festivities, which will run ALL month. Any pets that were offered up as prizes will have been pre-assigned numbers, which only I and a few other organizers (i.e. non-participants) shall know. Then, during October, we will distribute generic masks (individually #ed/tagged to represent whomever wins/is given rights over said mask) via raffles, post-prizes, games, and flatsales (which will cost 1k each)...then, on the 31st of October, the masks will reveal their prize, which gives EVERYONE a fair shake at acquiring one. In between the assorted giveaways and the like, I'm hoping to see people hang out here, have fun..and generally, to just party like nobody's business!
Because this is a masked-querade (or Masked ball XD), I'd ask that the pets offered up be in some way geared towards that theme--not necessarily masked in the traditional monster masks fo halloween, but in some way relevent to the theme, if at all possible. heart
Then, at the end of the event, any gold made during the course of the event (either via donations/raffle ticket purchases/flatsales/etc) will be split EVENLY amongst all the shopowners--I realize it won't be as much as one could make in auctions, but the fun IS meant to be the main focus of this--the gold any shopowners make is a slight perk, if you will. sweatdrop heart
Rei, goddess that she is, made this adorable plushie for all attendees at the masked-querade. This Plooshie is free for anyone to take--all you need to do is save it and upload to your own servers--no strings! Just remember to save to your OWN servers--no stealing bandwidth!
